Isn't the witch sopposed to attack the person that startled it?
Because when i was playing through the fist scenario i heard the witch crying and found her in a small store room and back out quickly without distubing her.
I walked back behind my friend the the AIs( whitch had gone out the door ahead of us) came runnign abck in and a few second later two infected ran in.
My friend threw a molatove and it landed right next to the open store room door with the witch in it. thye fire poured in and then the witch screamed it said my friend disturbed her and she came charging out and ran...right past my friend and mauled be who had been standing behind him.
i found that odd, did they change her programing or do the speceils jsut like me?

Sometimes if for some reason she can't reach the person that startled her (assuming they aren't dead) or if you hurt her enough, or re-catch her on fire, she will change her target to whoever did the damage or re-caught her.

i did no damage and he was closer, she literly ran right around him.

maybe the game jsut didn't like how i was doing. i kept taking the least amount of damage.

sometimes she'll go for whoever she feels like, it shakes you up a bit, when she charges the one guy who just isn't ready for it
