Yeah, I'm in the middle of one right now. How often do you guys get these, if ever? How do you get rid of it? Can you ever get out of it? gonk I think I'm officially losing my fashion sense, now. I walked the door today with a black top, jeans and white sneakers with a blue-green cardigan that looked really heinous in the combination. >.>
Honestly, I think I'm letting the guys' opinions of my clothing and my logic overrule any creativity I used to have. My style's getting so boring it's not even funny. I'm not sure if it's because I have no time to match anything anymore or because I'm not daring enough to wear those knee-high boots with tight jeans again. Everything slightly unusual I try tends to look ugly these days.
Help? Advice? Rants? Seriously, anyone else in a style rut? Tell me I'm not the only one without a creative bone left.

I get style ruts sometimes when I'm trying to choose outfits for school.
They come and go, but I never lose my fashion sense.

I'm in a style rut, for sure. Sometimes I feel as though I am impossibly unfashionable and that I will never have any good sense, but Uncle Karl always makes me feel better.

I'm in a rut, but not a bad one. Pretty much every day, it's some form of tights, high-waisted skirt with a thick belt, solid dark-colored tee, and a cardigan. Then heels. I need to switch it up, but it's just so easy and cute...

I get those for school since we don't have a uniform, and mostly because I just get stressed out with the
"I wore this friday last week I can't use it again today!" or I put it on and for some reason that day it doesn't look good, "I look too fat in it!."
And I put on and off like 7 shirts and then I just pick the largest most comfortable and not pretty one and wear that, and I try to make it look better with a scarf or something just to realize they clash once i'm in the bus.
Like today I felt chubby so I decided to wear a hoodie since it has been kinda cold recently and I wore a white hooters shirt underneath thinking i'm not going to take the hoodie off anyways and at 12 the temp. rose to like 84 F and I was dying and couldn't take the hoodie off because... it was a hooters shirt lol. They did not match with my vans, or my necklace to top it off.

Incinerate: Aw, you're so lucky. Dx I think my fashion sense went south for the winter.
Velvet: xD That's some uncle you've got there. ;D But I've been feeling like that almost everyday at school for the past week. Especially when I resorted to wearing jeans that make my legs look short and stumpy. ._.
O.O: That sounds cute! I can't dress like that lately because it's too cold to do it. .-. And I need good tights. Mine itches after a few hours.
Kerize: I know, right? It gets hard picking out new outfits for school after 4 years. OMG, I can't stop doing that. I'll stand in front of my closet while tossing everything on my chair because I wore it two days ago or some other time this week or the outfit is too striking to wear twice in a month. And I've been feeling very fat lately. Dx Not that I haven't gained some weight since the summer, but it's really pronounced in jeans (as opposed to dresses, where I can just kind of hide it).
I think the only good day I had this week was Wednesday, when I wore a denim shirt dress and knee-high suede brown boots. Today was irregular, I had to wear a hideous shirt for our organization. ._.

It's not too chilly, the cardigan and thick-ish tights do their job nicely, but I just suffer through any chill that seeps through. I just recently hit up Target and UO's tights sections, so I got a bunch of cool, soft ones.

I just recently hit up Target and UO's tights sections, so I got a bunch of cool, soft ones. My parents pick on me because I will suffer through a blizzard if it means I get to wear the outfit I want to wear. Last night, it was below 50 and I wore a ruffle skirt with naught but pantyhose to block the wind, but I just grit my teeth and ran as fast as I could from warm place to warm place. Oh, the things people do to be stylish.

Oh yeah, I do that too. I mean, we'll have feet on snow, and sheets of ice up the path I walk to the bus in the morning, and I'll be out strutting in 4-inch spike heels and relatively light clothing(except my coat).
My dad complains more about my choice in footwear than the actual clothing though. He used to be a podiatrist.
