Blaire kept her nose pointed out her window, and her arms folded across her chest, she just wanted to get home and the drive there seemed long and tedious. As soon as Sasuke pulled up in front of her apartment building, she jumped out of the truck without so much as a wave or 'goodbye' to the other two. She slammed her door and jogged up into her building. "Hmm... well that was... uncomfortable." Hunter shivered as the cold shoulder Blaire left behind practically gave her the flu. "Yeah, you don't know the half of it." Sasuke huffed, blowing a strand of hair from his eyes as he pressed down hard on the gas pedal, causing the truck to lurch forward at a blazing speed for such a large vehicle. "Did you know that she is under the impression that you and I are ********?!" He blurted the words out, shaking his head as he was still trying to wrap it around the concept. "Can you believe that s**t? I mean, you are practically my little sister. No offense, but I just don't like to see you in that way... and speaking of which.." He looked over at her, her face in stunned silence staring back at him. "What is up with you and 'him'?" The last part he spoke with a tone of vague disgust.Hunter was just sitting there blinking and gaping at Sasuke at the idea that he said was planted into Blaire's head. Then her face changed as soon as he asked about Simon, and his tone was not a pleasant one. "What do you mean 'what's up with me and him'?" She narrowed her eyes at him, as he looked back and forth from her to the road. "Like it is any of your business, but yeah, me and him are close now. Is that a problem? I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to tell you about it, but it's not like I'm gonna call you in the middle of it to tell you what's going on. I mean, really Sasuke..." She holds her hand up to her ear with her thumb and pinky finger extended like she was talking on the phone. "Hey, Sasuke! Guess what?!" Her tone had a heavy dose of sarcastic exuberance. "So, yeah, Simon and I are in the park swinging, and now we are making out. It's amazing and totally awesome. My first kiss... can you believe it?!" She let her hand dropped and narrowed her eyes again in annoyance. Sasuke's face changed through a rainbow of emotions; disgust, annoyance, anger, rage, then finally sorrow. "I didn't realize. Honestly, I didn't know." His voice was small as he focused on driving through the dark streets. "Yeah, well I didn't expect you to, but I did expect a bit more class from you about it." Hunter turned herself back so she was looking straight forward again instead of at Sasuke, giving a little agitated bounce in her seat. "So, can we start this over then?" She saw Sasuke nod out of the corner of her eye. "Good. So... yeah now it feels way more awkward than it did, but... Simon kissed me!" Her regular gleeful tone was back, one that Sasuke had not heard since before her mother had died.Sasuke's face scrunched up slightly. "You know, I was serious when I said I didn't want to think of you in that way." He reached over and messed her hair slightly. Hunter batted away his hand. "SO what, you know you are the only sibling that would even slightly give a damn about something like this. So, suck it up and listen." Hunter went on and on about what had transpired between her and Simon at the park. She even told him about him teaching her how to control her talent. She knew she could trust Sasuke to be mindful of what he told Hawk if she told him that part. Continued here...

continued from Nayanas Tower... Kalintria stopped at the sidewalk just outside the gate and fixed up her dress so it was not so long and flowing, and more suitable for a sprint. As soon as she was satisfied, she eyed the streets, but no one seemed to be around, except down at the bar that they had been to earlier. Thankfully she was going in the opposite direction, so she turned in let her elven speed carry her down the rock hard road. She admired the dusty lights and cityscape for something she had not seen before. The sounds and air were different than her home. She wondered as she ran if this place ever once looked like Faerun or if Faerun would one day come to look like the Marked Lands.
She came upon the broken down building where they had met the children earlier that day, and stopped to look up at its quiet exterior.

Manic had managed to pass out on the couch on the roof. She had an empty bottle of some alcohol grasped in her hand. A boy's sweatshirt had been drapped carefully over her by a very loving hand....

Kalintria silently and swiftly flew up the ladder on the side of the building. She gracefully crossed the roof to where she saw Manic sleeping on the couch there. She reached out a hand to gently rouse her.

"Sod off...." she said and batted the hand a way, rolling over a little so her back was to whomever was bothering her. "I'll be inside...later...." she grumbled something else unintelligable and fell back asleep.
Sane sat on the couch beside white, who had fallen asleep with his head on the older girl's shoulder. The alchemist was bent over a well worn alchemy book and was reading carefully.

She smiled as the girl grumbled from her trying to wake her. It did seem these children had much in common with halflings. She turned back to the ladder, and climbed down to the apartment on the top floor. "White?" she whispered before she flung herself around and into the window, landing softly on the balls of her feet.

Sane looked up over the tops of her glasses, "Kalintria?" she asked, unable to move because of White's position, she did close her book, marking her place with her finger, "What brings you here?"

She smiled and stood up gracefully, she was happy that it was Sane awake. She always seemed the more intelligent of the group. "I am here to bring a message to White from Black."

"But Black is on the roof with Manic....I'm sure you saw them up there..." she said looking slightly confused.
White moved a little upon hearing his name uttered, but then settled down again, repositioning his head on sane's shoulder.

Kalintria smiled again at the girl. "No, I am afraid he is not up there, but Manic is and I assure you she is fine. That is my message for White. Black is at Nayana's tower doing some... reading." She nodded in acceptance of her own wording.

Sane moved slightly, manuvering white to rest on the back of the couch. She stood up, "What? Why?" she shook her head with each word, "What is he studying?" she seemed more then just confused...slightly bewildered was more the term.
White sniffled and cuddled up with the throw pillow on the other side of the couch.

"Well I assure you that Black went to Nayana under his own free will, and he stays there as well under his own will. So, there is no need to worry. He is just reading up on some material that Nayana and The Eye needed help with." She was happy that she had gotten that tidbit of information out of Black before leaving.

At that Sane's face changed to panic again she was shaking her head in disbelief, "No...thats not possible....." she said and began to back away towards another window, "He wouldn't work with The Eye....not the military.....Black is with Manic, he wouldn't betray us...."

Kalintria tilted her head at the girl's strange reaction. "Betray you? My dear girl, he is simply reading. What could a boy like Black be able to do with books?" She narrowed her eyes at the girl backing towards the window. "If you are referring to your alchemy that everyone was buzzing about earlier today, I can assure you that has nothing to do with Black right now."
