So where we were last:
Kalintria nodded as she followed Virgil up the stairs, and shrugged. "Something has always been off with her that I have noticed since arriving from Faerun, but I know she can take care of herself." She laced her fingers between his. "So what did you discover about the Cyaneus Dias? And why was I unaware of everything?" She looked at him with a knowing glare, but a slight grin on her face as well.
"Lets just say darlin....I don't need the drug....I can use my abilities on this plane without it seems. And thats why you don't remember nothing...Sorry love...I had to test it one way or another, and you were all that was available..." he shrugged, "Shall we then?"
Kalintria rolled her eyes and kept following Virgil up the stairs. "Yes we shall." She squeezed his hand.

Virgil shrugged, taking her response as acceptance and lead her up to the bedroom they had talked in before. With a dramatic opening of the door he gestured to the interior, he room was still tidy and the bed looked inviting to him, after such a long day and so many different happenings, he was very interested in how soft it would be...and how well oiled the springs were....."Its been an interesting day hasn't it....most interesting... What do you think about that chat that was had between Nayana and her daughter..." he was waiting to see if the elf would correct him as he stripped his coat from his frame and draped it over the chest at the foot of the bed.

"Do not let Nayana hear you say that," Kalintria said after she looked out into the corridor and firmly shut the door behind her. She leaned up against it and rested her head on the wood with her eyes closed. "I am not sure how to feel about it. That boy... here... in the tower." She shivered a little as the thought made her skin crawl. She opened her eyes and looked at Virgil as she absently rubbed her arms. "He did a number on me, I will admit it. Then to have him apprentice under Nayana, of all people..." She drifted off as she began walking towards the bed. She unclasped her belt and let it fall to the floor with her sword still sheathed in it.

"Yeah..." he nodded, "I agree I'm not fond of having him around either, but I've taking to trusting our mage. She's ruthless but at the same time, everything she does has a purpose...." he unbuttoned his shirt and let it hang from his pants as he looked over to Kalintria, "You look tired darlin...lets get some rest...."

~*~ edit ~*~ "Well, I trust her as well, with my life... it is him I do not care to trust." She sat down on the edge of the bed, untying her dress. "Yes, I am a bit tired..." she spoke absently, reaching under her dress to unhook her dagger belt, letting it too fall to the floor. She finally looked back up to Virgil, and upon seeing his concerned expression, she forced a smile on her face. "I am okay now though, love. Do not worry about me." She climbed onto the bed in an all-fours position and faced Virgil. "We can 'rest' all we want now. No one should disturb us for awhile." She winked adding to the sexual innuendo in her tone of voice.

Virgil took the hint and unbuttoned his pants , letting them slide to the floor, took off his shoes in a solid movement and then was laying beside her on the bed, ready and waiting. He laid on his back and looked up at her as he pulled her body next to his and kissed her deeply, "I don't mind forgetting the world with you darlin..." he kissed again and pulled her close to his bare chest.
The alarm went off in her head. She nodded to herself, knowing exactly who it was....She carefully put away the instruments of her experiment and made her way down to her office. As she sat down she looked up and if on cue, there stood Black.
"You asked me to come?"
"I did boy...sit down..."

Kalintria's forced smile changed into a mischievous grin as she laid down next to Virgil. Her dress was off in the next second as she continued to press against him and bring herself deeper into the kiss. She proceed to climb on top of him, wrapping her legs firmly around his muscular body, and enjoying each and every moment.

Kalintria laid in the bed with a smile practically stretching from one elf ear to the other. She looked over at Virgil, she outstretched a finger and let it run across his jaw bone. "So my love... you should get some rest. I think we may have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

He looked at her sleepily, "Yeah...." his eyes were feeling heavy, and he let himself drift to sleep.
Black was walking the corridor of the tower's guest room hall. He was going back to the room he'd shared with White earlier. His hands were full of books the mage had given him but when a wrinkled part of the rug tripped him, the tomes went flying with a loud crash against the floor. He rushed to pick them up.

Kalintria heard a sudden loud crash as soon as Virgil slipped into a sound sleep. She kissed the top of his head, and then slid from the bed, grabbing her dress. She wrapped and tied the dress around her as she silently and gracefully strode to the door. She opened it a crack and peered out. She saw Black with a huge pile of books strewn all over the floor. She looked back at Virgil, and decided 'why not.' She swiftly slid out the door, shutting it behind her, and slid across the floor to Black. She picked up a book that landed far away, and held it out to Black. "Here you are."

He looked up at her and sighed, "Thanks..." he took the book and added it to the stack he'd already collected, "Sorry...I...I didn't know anyone was on this floor....Nayana had told me to come up here....." He stood up after he'd pulled the stack to his chest and looked at Kalintria as if assesing her.

"It is just Virgil and myself up here. What did Nayana have you come up here for?" She looked inquisitively at the stack of books in the boy's hands. "She gave you all of those?"

He looked at the stack of books, "She told me to read them....said there was something I was supposed to learn....that's why she called me here in the first place. So far, the only thing i've learned just by reading the titles is apparently its something about demons she's after...." He shrugged and held the books steady though their weight and the smell of the binding was starting to get to him.
