A train station once used for passenger tansport all over the world. Now, it remains only to go certain distances, as the rails have been destroyed in several areas and have to be monitored if those who ride want to survive.

As Inferno situated Zeke on the trains defence, Aroura turned to look back at Sylvia. She opened her mouth as if to speak before realizing she had somehow vanished. After a moment, the corners of her mouth formed a small smile. This person has her own signature way of doing things, it seems. She was still unsure if she was still present or not, but she was sure they would cross paths again if she wasn't.
As Inferno finished briefing Zeke on his Idea of using the trains electronic defences, he rejoined Ken/Beni up on the roof. "I bet we're gonna have one Hell of a time riding in this crap." he mentioned as he mounted his rifle. "Demonic bats, Gigantic metal-plated demons, and mysterious people. I'd say I earned my check upon entering this place."

Zeke's attention was directed at Inferno's last comment. "Earned your check? Well, at least you're getting paid for being in this desolate place. Others of us have to put up with all that goes on for absolute nothing at all, aside from the wonderful company of each other. We've become fast friends. Is your wallet all you can think about in all of this?" He was surprised, but dismissed all ill thoughts of Inferno. "Well, I guess that was a bad question. After all, you're conditioned to fit a certain mold, for the right price, you just might strive to be the perfect fit. I know you've already made your sacrifices." Zeke patted Inferno on the back, almost giving him sympathy. Beni was watching in utter confusion wondering what in the world just happened, confused, and simply shook his head at the two.

Inferno overheard Zeke's unexpected comment, but didn't do anything until he was patted on the back. He turned his attention from the rifle for a brief moment before turning back. "It appears you don't know my position. I've had men die at my command. In turn, I've saved several more. I've jumped in the line of fire just to drag one of my comrades to safety so that he may have a second chance at life." He paused a moment before turning to Beni. "Being here is no different to me than then. Yes, I made my sacrifices, and yes, I get paid for them, but most of that check goes to medical expenses or funeral costs, to those families whose grief I, myself have caused."
Aroura looked at Inferno and remained completely silent. This was a side to Inferno she had never expected to see. She could tell he was very strong, but she hadn't expected a millitary figure to reveal information about himself such as this. Whatever happened to him must have disturbed him greatly. After a moments hesitation, she asked "So, Inferno, what are your orders here?"
Inferno paused. "Since you're most familliar with this place, is it a safe place to rest? If so, I greatly suggest we do so before moving on."
Aroura nodded. "So long as one of us keeps watch, there should be no trouble. the most that could happen is a small pack of wolves, but the're not too hard to deal with."

"Hmmm. So I guess it's safe to assume that you've had the worst experiences out of all us, huh? We're not going to have that awkward story sharing time with each other, we're just going to take in what you said and move on." Zeke let out a tiny smile. "What if I stayed watch? I'm sure I could provide a useful defense at the least. You'd be in safe hands, and the ones that really need the rest can have it."
Beni yawned and nodded in agreement. Zeke rolled his eyes at it.

Inferno looked to Zeke. He did not mean to make that sudden outburst, but what he said about 'meaning' to one's self reminded him of those times. Inferno then looked himself over and decided it'd be best he had rest as well this time. He pointed to his case. "If you need anything, this here should do the trick." He unstrapped himself from his rifle and motioned for the others to get some rest if they need it.
Aroura watched as Inferno passed her, and wondered if he truly was ok. Afterwords, she would turn to zeke. "I'll stay up with you. I know the enemies here and offer support."

"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not going to be able to learn anything by having things easy on myself. Albert Einstein didn't have it easy, and maybe he was crazy for it...or maybe he was crazy regardless, but you get my point. You just go get your rest, and I'll let you have second shift if you want it. Take a nap over there by Beni if you want, even. I'm sure that if he can manage not to kill you, it should prove excellent for protection." It was nearly obvious Zeke started to lose track of what he was saying towards the end of his thoughts, but there was some sense in there.

Aroura gave him a confused look at his last comment. She looked to Beni and tried to sense his aura. She could not get much. Whatever was going on, she took it that Zeke knew more about Beni than she would. If indeed Beni was a threat, she knew at least he could not get far. On the other hand, she was always up for a challenge. "Alright, I'll take second shift then." At that, she would lay down near where beni was and close her eyes, leaving it to Beni if he wanted to sleep just yet.

Zeke nodded as Aroura took to his advice on sleeping. He could tell Beni was already trying to sleep. He was nearly already dead to the world, it wouldn't be long before he lost consciousness altogether. Zeke readied his wooden sword by having its back-side sit on his shoulder, and his fingers wrapped around the handle. He kept a close watch, but even more so, his ears. His head would occasionally sweep the entire area. He tried to move his feet as little as possible in case anyone was listening for him.

Hours passed as Zeke would watch over the party. Inferno lay up against a wall with his hand resting on his opposite side where his pistol was holstered. Aroura and Beni lay side-by-side in the midde, as Zeke had mentioned. It was but an hour before Aroura was to take her shift before a faint scratching sound was heard near the back of the train.

Zeke had heard a small noise. In his head, and in seconds, he wondered what it was, come to think of several possibilities. He came up with a few very imaginative possibilities, and all were quite scary. He was about ready to piss himself and inside was shaking and cursing himself, 'Oh why did I ever volunteer for this?!' He'd whimper a little if his vocal cords weren't completely frozen. Almost mindlessly, he walked silently toward the noise, shaking, and wondering why he approached it instead of running or screaming, but he was powerless to stop himself. He gripped his sword tightly and prepared himself.

the scratching sound stopped for a moment and became completely silent. Afterwords, a pitter-patter from outside was heard. as the sound seemed to fade for a time, something seemed to land on top of the train near Zeke. The pitter-patter was still heard in another direction, giving the sense there may be more than one source.

Zeke stood listening to the different noises, looking in the general directions of all noises one at a time, breathing heavily, shaking uncontrollably, and his hands were gripped so tight around his sword that his hands were red and had little circulation. His eyes were wide, and he tried to make a sound, but he still couldn't.
After another couple of seconds, something reached out and touched Zeke's shoulder, accompanied by a strong and sudden "What are you doing!?" Zeke screamed, and was as white as a cloud, when he turned around and dropped to his knees, only to find it was Beni.
"Don't be so jumpy," Beni said. "If there's that many of them, then they're obviously small creatures, probably the wolves. Take them one by one, and you'll be fine. I'll even help you."
Zeke nodded in agreement. "Yes...The...the soft sounds...would suggest...they're pretty small." He got back up, took deeper breaths, and readied himself. His face got more color, and his tremblings quieted to light twitching. "I'm ready."

Zeke's screaming attracted the attention of the outside threat. The pitter-patter outside increased and the one on top of the train growled and moved towards the engine, where Inferno and Aroura were resting. By the side door of the train, something could be heard scratching.

Beni walked slowly, but heavily, toward the exit. "Let's go get them, eh?" He exited, and jumped up onto the top of the train, and grabbed Zeke's hand and slingshot him up with him. Zeke, yet again, let out a light scream. "STOP DOING THAT!" Zeke protested. The two of them looked on to see what they were dealing with. All Beni said was "Huh..." Zeke didn't say anything, but he was still about ready to wet himself.
