RAVENHOLLOW ACADEMY FOR THE INHUMAN AND STRANGE


To Whom it May Concern,

If you are reading this, you have been accepted to Ravenhollow Academy for the Inhuman and Strange. We are very pleased to have you among our fine and growing student body. Ravenhollow's campus is located high in the mountains of Germany.
The academy sits atop a vast plateau, with a large lake in front of the school, and a large woodland in the back. The huge area the campus encompasses will be open to students outside of class hours.
During the school year, you will live at the academy in one of our many dorm rooms with a roommate. We at Ravenhollow believe that having a roommate creates a unique bonding experience for the student and enriches their stay here.
A list of available classes will be provided for you in a list below. Classes begin at 10:00 in the morning, and end at 3:00 in the afternoon. After and before class students are free to roam the school and the campus, but are too keep out of restricted areas such as the headmaster's quarters and the basement where the combat complex is located. Students who violate this rule will be severely punished.
So, we hope that you enjoy your stay here. Our bus should arrive to pick you up shortly. Oh, and don't worry how far you live from the campus, our bus goes...well, very very fast. Be sure to pack everything you'll need, but no weapons, drugs, alcohol, or profane material of any kind, or it will be confiscated when we check your bags at your arrival. We hope to see you soon and anxiously await your visit!

The school day will start at 10 and be divided into 4 class hours, separated half-way through by lunch, and preceded by breakfast (if a student chooses to attend breakfast or lunch) you may only attend one class per hour and only the classes available for said hour. Here is the schedule:

Short Bio- Taika is the first of her kind, the only offspring between a winged elf and a wizard, with qualities of both. She was abandoned by her mother and father for pairing between races is strictly forbidden. She has been alone all her life and has not been shown much kindness. She is strong, however, stronger than either a winged elf or a wizard. Maybe even both combined.

Short Bio- She doesn't bring up her past very often but she does tell the story of how she helped her uncle escape the clutches of dark dungeons and death. Overall, she is quite pleased since every decade she watches the world change around her.

Short Bio- Lien was orphaned sometime around toddling age, and spent several years in an orphanage before he was adopted and raised by a human family on a horse ranch, something that used to confuse him quite a bit. He doesn't know much about his own kind, and despite his adoptive parents' best efforts, he considers himself simply an unusual sort of human. They sent him to Raven Hollow hoping to open his eyes.

Short Bio- Charles' true race was unknown to him as a child and later in life he fell in love with a girl who was stunningly beautiful she admired him due to his appearance of youth and they became very close, Charles trained in the art of swordsmanship shortly becoming an expert with reverse bladed swords, shortly hereafter the girl was killed and all evidence pointed to Charles as the murderer, he was thrown in jail and his companion in jail taught him how to pick locks, Charles escaped and was quickly put on the most wanted list with a bounty on his head. Since then he has lived through multiple trails and problems using his quick wit and even quicker reflexes, He has come to the school in hopes of starting a new life.

She is what vampires call a vegetarian, she will only feed off of animals, yet at the same time regular food can sustain her hunger as well. Her main focus is on school and being the best at it. She is intelligent and has a very active imagination.

Short Bio- After being terrorized at her previous school for her father being a vampire and her mother being a mortal witch, her family thought it best to move to London, England to start anew. Ever since then she has been distant from people and tries to not get involved. She has a secret traumatizing experience which causes her to have these random fits of anger and at times her mind will trick her into seeing things that aren't there. She is very selective on who she tells her past to.

Personality : Leon is a bit of a flirt, ok really flirty. When it comes to women he wants them on his arm or in his bed. He's become a bit more tame in terms of pursuing women to the point of mating ever since he turned 18 just because he doesn't want to be accused of statutory rape. He's neglected the fact that he's now in Germany not the United States and that the particular law he's restraining himself with doesn't exist here.

Short Bio : Years ago, a dragon in human form seduced a wood nymph and the resulting child seemed to be pure magic. For the first few month the child was simply a ball of glowing energy until the nymph harnessed the light into a human baby mold. The baby, after being given a face and gender, was named Leon in honor of his lizardly heritage. The child was raised for several years in the woods with the nymph, as the dragon had deserted the woman right after conception of the baby, but was left on the steps of a church at the age of 7. The nymph didn't quite want the baby either. She had her nurturing instincts but they were for plants not people and she'd had her fill.
After the church took in the young boy he began exhibiting magical inclinations. The clergy saw it as a blessing from god but some of the patrons said it was a curse. When Leon turned 10 things got a bit out of control; he began shape-shifting. First it was small transmutations, like a webbed hand or horse legs, but it soon became full changes into rats, hawks, and other animals. The church couldn't deal with it and sent him to a "special" private school. They were only able to handle him until he became an adult and then sent him off to a more adaquate facility in Germany.

Short bio: He lives in Scotland in Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness. His parents run a B&B there. During the summer he found out that he was part of a werewolf clan. These werewolves are not the change at the full moon, go out and kill everyone type of werewolves as the stories have been told. There are those that do that, but his clan is not that type. They are people that can change but tend to help and protect rather than be wanton killing machines. They are just people except for that little thing. He went through his first change on his 14th birthday over the summer. His parents knew of Raven Hollow and decided it was a good place for him right now. He has not been away from home before and is a little nervous about being so far from family. Especially now that he has this new thing to get used to as well.

Gender- Generally Male
Personality- A bit cynical, overwhelming, and domineering, he seems the type to tower over others and look down upon them. And he expresses this powerful charm of his in class and in public eye. However, in private, he takes on a more gentle, if not more stoic, persona, becoming much more focused on the matters at hand, usually advice of some sort, as he rarely takes on the company of others in any other various circumstances, being that his social and dating life is very much a mystery and shrouded in rumors. Hence it has been speculated he is homosexual by his choice of attire, whilst others will argue he is heterosexual but his outward reaction towards society. In conclusion, Khalo is good for honest and to the point opinions, but it may sometimes come with a price.

Short Bio- Coming from the depths of an overshadowed past, Khalos tends to keep most personal matter to himself, and rather focuses on situations around him. Being manipulative and in practice with riddles, it is usually not difficult for him to steer attention away from himself directly.
With a less than sympathetic attitude and a wardrobe that screams BDSM and Fashionista, Khalo prowls the halls with one thing in mind: ignorance is no excuse to be a burden on the world. Though he may seem a bit of a hard-a** on the outside, Khalo has, on occasion, shown great compassion, as can be witnessed when he indulges in music and art, and advocates for the causes he loyally supports. And though he may be difficult to approach due to his rather icy demeanor, he expresses a calm logic that exudes positive advice when peers, or even professors, require his opinions.
Khalo. Likes. Tight. Pants. It's painfully obvious, and may be a hereditary tendency. Other than this, it should also be noted that both wrists are tattooed with ancient scriptures of a language long lost, as well as his back, from the base of his skull to the end of his tail bone, in a uniform justified scripture, which appears like a solid dark gray stripe down his back until inspected more closely and revealed to be thousands of tiny calligraphy stroke. His body is otherwise unmarked.
Other: He has sometimes been referred to as Irdu lili, an ancient term revolving around Incubi, however, the exact meaning behind the words and their original demon evades common speculation, and thus, is often over looked as a simple childhood nickname, but in fact is a rather insulting offense to Khalo. Those students and professors who don't know better than to call him this would soon learn.

Short Bio- Ty was denounced by the dragons when he attempted to save a girls life, and was banished to be half boy, half dragon. In reality, there was much more, but he refuses to talk about it.

William Swofford was leaning quietly against a stone wall, waiting for the bus. He was being sent off to some new school, some Ravenhollow place in Germany. So why was he waiting for a school bus, when he lived in Scotland? He had no clue- the paper he had received, and his parents, for that matter, had said that he was to wait for the bus here. Huh, that was crazy. He shook his head and sighed, and then looked down the street for the bus. He had no idea how this was supposed to work- what, could the bus travel at the speed of light? Haha, in his dreams. So he waited with a look of contempt on his face at the bus stop.

All at once, there was a loud screeching noise, the sound of brakes, and a bus appeared right in front of him, rumbling and puffing smoke from the exhaust. The oddest thing was that the bus was blue. A blue bus, that was new. The driver opened the door.

"Ravenhollow?" the bus driver man asked, and William nodded. The driver jerked his thumb to the back of the bus, and Will got on. No sooner than he had gotten on, the bus took off. He hit the floor on his knees, and cursed. Stupid bus driver!

"Watch it," he growled at the bus driver, who paid him no mind. William scowled, and stomped to the back of the bus, where he sat in a seat.

William watched the girl as she got on the bus, and he watched as she silently sat down in the seat just across from him. He was rather surprised when she smiled from under the shadows of her hoodie- at him. Nobody smiled at him very often, and so he thought something was up. He gave a brief jerk of his head, which was his way of greeting people, and then his face hit the back of the seat in front of him when the bus jerked to another sudden halt seconds later. He cursed under his breath and looked out the window- to see that the scenery had drastically changed. Okay, this bus wasn't normal. At all.

He looked over at her for a moment, studying her face distantly, and nodded.
"I'm fine," he said shortly, turning back to look to the front of the bus. He braced himself in the seat by putting one hand on the seat back before him, and the other on the bottom of the seat he was in. He didn't want to be thrown around any more by the bus. It really bothered him.
