Lila smiled and put the movie in before answering Mary's question. Then she sat down next to Mary, facing her. "That my friend is all part of the reason they drool over me." she laughed a little. "I get called a tease a lot, but it's all in good fun. I'm very picky about who I choose to date. But playing hard to get seems to increase my choices." she laughed a little. "I just, be myself and don't care who likes the real me or not. Haters make us famous, you know." she said, grinning and taking a sip of some soda.

"I never really have been able to flirt like that.. I barely ever date" she blushes looking at Lila "I normally am too weird for them to want to date me or even flirt with me" she fiddles with her hair.

Lila smiled. "Mary, you're a beautiful woman. Any man would be way lucky to date you, honest." she said, placing her hand over Mary's and squeezing gently. A weird shock ran up Lila's arm but she chose to ignore it, taking back her hand but still smiling.

Lila shook her head. "I just said you're beautiful, and I meant it. IF no guy realizes then it's his loss. I mean, I realize it!" she said fiercly, getting so into her words that she didn't realize what she had said, until it was too late. Her eyes widened and she looked down at her fingers.

Mary blushed bright glad the movie started up since she turned to look at it not really sure what to say, she felt butterflies in her chest, why what another girl said was doing anything for her she was not sure.

Lila gazed over at the screen, trying to forget what she had said. But she just couldn't. She wasn't in to girl's. At least that's what she had been believeing for as long as she had been alive. She sighed.

She looks at Lila and sighed as well, she had never really liked guys maybe Mary liked girls, when she thought about it she blushed more and tried to focus on the movie, she had figured out that it was true, she liked girls, that would explain why it was so easy for her to be best friends with guys but never like dating them.

Lila leaned back against the headborad of her bed and grabbed a handful of chips. Comfort food was all she needed, she decided as she shoved a few in her mouth. She chased it down with some of her Rootbeer.

Mary fiddles with her hair as she watches the movie, she wasn't sure what she could say to Lila.

After Lila had eaten through a whole bag of potato chips, she turned to Mary, grimacing a little because her stomach hurt. "Let's start on the project." she said, tired of the somewhat awkward silence.

Mary nods and goes and gets her books and sets them on the bed near Lila "Well what part do you want to start with?"

"I don't even know." Lila said, running a hand through her hair. She pulled her knee's up and rested her chin on her knee's thinking. She had no desire to actually do the project, but she needed to keep up her grades and occupy her mind with something other then, well, Mary.

May laughs some and looks over at her "You ok?" she really wasn't sure what to say after all of that, she figured a girl like Lila even if she did like girls would never want to be with Mary.

Lila looked at Mary and had the impulse to tell her what was going through her mind, but her caution warned her not too. She wasn't comfortable with the feelings she had experience so far, because they pointed to something that could quite possibly ruin her. What would her parents or peers think if she suddenly started dating a girl? She remembered Mary's question and nodded. "I'm just...tired." she said, only half lying.

She nods "Well if you want to we can save the work til tomorrow?" she looked at the books in her hands. she really didn't know what to do, her feelings where different and new.
