A question that's been arising in my mind is the death of Ulquiorra Cifer. I do not believe that he died, but rather simply suffered the fate of supposedly "dying" again. Like a cycle of some sort. He was shocked for a second, but then went back into his usual behavior. He also said, "Kill me or else!" twice to Ichigo. That is something I've been thinking about.

I think he IS dead. He's unable to regenerate internal organs (I'm sure you already know that, but still...), so when Ichigo blew his a** to hell and disintegrated a majority of his body; there's no way in Hell he would have lived for much longer.

Actually we have no idea how a Hollow's body works. It may be different from a Human's body. The same can be said for a Shinigami as well. Plus, Ulquiorra is a smart guy, he wouldn't just shout out his strengths to Ichigo unless he had a plan behind it. Oh and you should listen to what Ulquiorra said before he faded into dust. "Kill me now or this conflict will never end," which in Ulquiorra's language means, "Kill me now or I will come back and kick your a ss." Ulquiorra's alive, alright.

Unlike the other Arrancar, who have lost the majority of their regenerative abilities, I saved the ability to quickly regenerate everything but my brain and internal organs instead of sacrificing it for brute strength," or something to that effect. When Ichigo shredded his body with that Cero, a majority of Ulquiorra's organs were destroyed. Even if his body would've regenerated, he would be lacking those organs and would die in short order. I'm sure that an Arrancar would be physically similar to a Shinigami (seeing as how they're Hollows-turned-Shinigami), and we KNOW that they can be killed. In the case of Ulquiorra, with his regenerative abilities, if his body is similar to that of a Shinigami's; then he can be killed if a serious enough injury is inflicted. I think permanently losing several vital organs counts as a severe injury.

He was once a Vasto Lorde (the highest ranking Hollow in Hueco Mundo) that converted into a Shinigami. I doubt a VL is like a Shinigami as we have never truly seen a VL up close unless one counts Halibel, but we don't see much of her as a VL. Hollows and Shinigami are different. That's like saying a human has the same biology as a wolf. That is incorrect. We have no understanding where Ulquiorra's organs are. He's mysterious and smart, you really think he'd shout his weakness out on purpose without so much an ulterior motive. That would make no sense at all if he just shouted it out. Besides, like I said, VLs and Shinigami are totally different. Yes, VLs are humanoid in appearance, but Shinigami are not Hollows unless they have become Vizards, but that doesn't give the anatomy of a Hollow.

Since he has the powers and somewhat the form of a Shingami, it would make sense that he would also pick up a few of the physical traits. WTF is this!?!? Since when the hell has it been possible for me to edit someone else's post!?!?

No, he was originally a Hollow that gained Shinigami powers, he never became one. Gaining powers is not the same as gaining another race's anatomy. I can equip a scythe, but does that make me the Reaper? No, not in anyway shape or form. "Arrancar" is a title for any Hollow that has removed the mask off of themselves. That's the true term for Arrancar. Yes it is a race, but Aizen modified them to make them more on par with the Shinigami, thus the creation of the Espada to overwhelm the Soul Society.

He's a Hollow, no matter what. Doesn't matter if he gains a humanoid form (which he already had as a Vasto Lorde Hollow) he is still a Hollow, he just gained Shinigami abilities. Have you seen the process of which an Arrancar is created? It involves the Hogyoku and it encases the Hollow and it takes them out of their Hollow skin, creating a more humanoid creature. Though they still retain their Hollow selves, they are much more sane and more reasoning, just change in appearance. The Hollow skin is like a shell, really. There is a humanoid figure under it and can be opened by removing the mask or using the Hogyoku. That is how Arrancar are created. No part of them gains any Shinigami body part, they just come out of their shells and gain new powers. Its as simple as that. You should watch the Grand Fisher's transformation or Wonderweis's transformation.

A Hollow that has lost its mask and gained a humanoid form and Shinigami powers is the definition of an Arrancar. Hogyokyu or not, they're Arrancar. The Hogyokyu just makes the Arrancar more "perfect."

Yes, you're right, but he is a Hollow, no matter what. Arrancars are Hollows. Idk how I can make that clearer. Just like how Vizards are still Shinigami. Ulquiorra is a Hollow, even he calls himself that.
If you want evidence of a Hollow not being like a Shinigami's body, I'll tell you this. (Spoiler) Grimmjow survived the battle between him and Ichigo. Ichigo did not kill him and when Grimmjow tried to fight him again, Ichigo refused to battle him. This angered Grimmjow and Nnoitra (Espada 5) blindsided him. Ichigo is last seen protecting Grimmjow from him and fighting against him though he lost against Nnoitra. If you read this, then explain why Grimmjow can survive getting impaled through the chest and why Ulquiorra can't survive turning into ash into the air? Isn't ash supposed to symbolize rebirth, not death?

Isn't ash supposed to symbolize rebirth, not death? There's a distinct difference between a regular Hollow and an Arrancar. You could liken it to the difference between a Saiyan and a Super Saiyan. Arrancars are on a whole different level. hough they may technically be the same, there is a difference. Grimmjow's survival is completely understandable. When Ichigo impaled him, he impaled him through the "heart." From what I've come to understand, the Hollow-hole shows how a soul has lost it's "heart." How could Ichigo impale what isn't there? Hell...From those kinds of wounds, it's incredulous that Grimmjow stayed conscious as long as he did.

Yes, I never said there wasn't. An Arrancar is still a Hollow, just as a Super Saiyan is still a Saiyan. Arrancar can't go back to being what they were in their past lives, but they are still Hollows as remnants of their past lives still exist. They're aren't completely new. This is why they have Hollow holes and Hollow fragments, because they were and still are Hollows.
Grimmjow also survived getting blindsided in the throat. How could anyone, even a Hollow survive that, unless the anatomy was different from a Shinigami's? It would make no sense if Grimmjow just luckily survived if his anatomy were just like any other Shinigami. Heck, if that be the case, then they might as well be Shinigami and not Hollows as that would overwrite what they already are. There is no part in them that is Shinigami, but their powers.
