 Who can save what is not truly there?Only four children with hopes and a broad imagination. “I plea for not just life; but for my fate to come very quickly.”Kaika Hagime isn't your typical heroine from a fairytale. She isn't agile, beautiful, immortal, or charming, nor is she just 'ordinary'. Kaika holds the key to a safe ever-after for all – little does she know. She is a dollie-looking gothic lolita with an amazing ability. After the disappearance of her father, then murder of her mother and older sibling Toshiyuki, she is rendered emotionless and lonesome until her father eventually returns, but unfortunately with a new life, wife, and destiny. Although he takes the pressure of caring for Kaika's younger siblings Naoko and Damien off of her shoulders, he cannot stand Kaika's angsty attitude and indifference to the world around her so he instead drops her off at an orphanage until he regains his self esteem. At the orphanage however nothing is as it seems!
Meet the Lang siblings; who knew such a wacky group of people? Lioku, the eldest, is a perverted and irresponsible male without a worry in the world – but underneath this layer of carefree nature he has a good heart. Next in line there's Reiyu, the lovable but explicitly dumb however athletic boy that only wants to be cared for. To add to this, he has a twin, Yurei. Yurei is a secretive clairvoyant that can see the dead and communicate with them, and on top of that a bookworm and artist. Last but not least, Tessu. Tessu is the youngest of the Lang siblings and more intelligent than them all combined,and has a keen sense of medicine, and plays the flute every chance he gets. The Lang siblings were brought here because of the death of their mother after Tessu being born and the disappearance of their father. Coincidence that Kaika along with the Lang siblings are in the same situation and have been brought to the same orphanage? Possibly.
Faito Mamoru is here after his grandparents were sent into nursing homes for the remainder of his lives. He never knew his parents and probably never will, and that is the reasoning as to why he doesn't get along with many. Sakura has lived a street life after running away, and also doesn't get along with many others with an exception of the Lang siblings.
Rena and Respa know how to keep secrets, especially the ones that they have. And Akiko and Kimiko are the parallel twins to Yurei and Reiyu; Akiko being the tough tomboy and Kimiko being what seems like the stereotypical girly-girl. Kimiko, however, is motherly to the Lang's, Kaika, Akiko, Saki and Faito, and Rena and Respa, along with the several other orphans that occupy this homely and purely unsatisfying wreck.
The day that Sakura's kitten passes away seems like the end. Ace was such a calm and collected cat, too. But Ace obviously isn't simply a cat... ¤ℓǿυзℓψ¤ßзаuτϊƒuℓ¤ωϊτђзґϊη'¤

 Ace is....a cat – right? He has to be. Well, as I've said before, nothing is as it seems. Ace is now what seems like a cat hybrid of some sort, even though that makes absolutely no sense considering he just – how do I put this lightly? – croaked. Nevertheless, he insists that he is a human that was mistaken for a cat and instead given that body, and now that the gods have figured it out and changed him into a cat, yadi-yada – the orphans are becoming bored with his rambling and finally ask why the hell he became a human and how in the hell are they supposed to help him.
Ace eventually explains that he was sent here to help spirits cross over, but needs the help of young Kaika because even though he can see and hear the ghosts, she is the only one that can talk to them correctly. Kaika shrugs, says 'sure', and asks if she can get on with her life.
Perhaps it is true: all that is well ends well.
Not really.
Kaika, along with Ace, the Lang twins – both being capable of seeming ghosts, even Reiyu who can simply see the aura, and the other orphans, must work together to rid the world of demons, ghosts, and all evil – if that is even possible, hence if – and sacrifice their well-being for creatures and beings that they cannot exactly be sure are real. ¤ℓǿυзℓψ¤ßзаuτϊƒuℓ¤ωϊτђзґϊη'¤

Regarding posts...
They don't have to be spectacular or anything of that sort. You can add names, colors, pictures, icons, quotes, etc., to your heart's content. Im a graphic freak and I wanted this one to be an eye catcher, so that is why it is so 'fluffy'. Bright color's and huge/teeny-tiny fonts can become irritating, to let you know. Just please make more than a one-liner for every post. =D

Do the best you can, and I'll be grateful. Believe me, when its midnight and I'm postin' away for something my brain turns into mush, too.

 Interview With A Freakazoid! *clapping from a crowd; KaikaKitty walks into a dark room and sits down, where she will speak to her interviewer for about an hour and a half or so*
Interviewer: Hi, you must be KaikaKitty.
KaikaKitty: Yes, I am.
Interviewer: Well, my name is Sakura – but you can call me Oprah Winfrey for the moment.
KaikaKitty: Saki? What the -
Sakura: I'm the one asking the questions, now. Anyway, how did you create this *cough* amazing story? *coughcoughnotreallycoughcough* When and where?
KaikaKitty: Okay, Sakura -
Sakura: Oprah Freaking Winfrey!
KaikaKitty: Okay! *scared* I actually was inspired to create Ha-Fu Yume due to a dream I had.
Sakura: Did it involve sparkling vampires?
KaikaKitty: No...
Sakura: Just wondering.
KaikaKitty: Well, in the dream the girl – Kaika – was living at this thingie -
Sakura: Is that what you call your 'masterpiece? A 'thingie'?
KaikaKitty: I mean...Kaika was living at this orphanage with at least two other girls, Sakura “Sak” and Yurei -
Sakura: Describe these people.
KaikaKitty: *sighs* And Kaika has a secret beyond compare. It is that she can help ghosts cross over. Of course, without the help of a cat demon – Ace – that used to be Sakura's cat before he, well, sort of died. However, while Ace is the one that sees the ghosts – Kaika must be the one to help them cross over and what-not.
Sakura: Continue.
KaikaKitty: And in one scene, the last moments of that abnormal dream, [[Manga Spoiler Alert!!!] Ace has gone utterly insane, either from a possession or from something that had happened, and throws a bunch of random people from the top of a fort – yes, you're hearing me right, and yes, it was as odd as it sounds – to their deaths, in which ghosts fly back up and are frightened. Kaika attempts to stop him but instead asks if he is really Ace, and his reply is “Would someone other than Ace do this?” and simultaneously kisses her. Yes, that was the end of that crazy dream and what birthed to this story.
Sakura: 0.o Okay. Where did you have this dream and when?
KaikaKitty: I dreamed it up in my, erm, bed; I had it about three years ago or so.
Sakura: Next question; why in the world haven't you drawn it out yet?
KaikaKitty: That is a bit blunt. But, to tell you the truth, I haven't quite drawn it out yet because I'm developing ideas.
Sakura: Next question; what are those names for? I mean, Kaika, and Sakura...?
KaikaKitty: Hmmm....I guess I'll have to add something in about that...
Sakura: Whatever you say. So, did the character Kaika come before the alias Kaika?
KaikaKitty: Indeed.
Sakura: And why are some of the names similar to those of, let's say, Tsubasa?
KaikaKitty: Coincidence. I swear. ><
Sakura: Do you think that this will be a hit?
KaikaKitty: Geez, Sakura – I haven't even drawn the first chapter yet. I cannot tell...

Kaika sat in a recliner that happened to be at the orphanage, staring blankly out of the window. The orphanage overlooked several gardens, those of the people that paid and supported the orphanage, a large majority of them containing delicious strawberries and cherries. Kaika however, unlike the other children, didn't care for picking and eating them, and claimed that it was all a waste of time. Of course, sitting in a recliner was also a waste of time, she supposed.
The clock ticked 'six', in the morning, to be specific, and Kaika heard the sound of others awakening. She looked over to Rena who tossed around in her bed and yawned. “I don't suppose that I should wake up, should I?” Rena asked in between yawns.
“No, it isn't a must, unless you would like the cold porridge,” Kaika explained in a serious tone.
“Ack! You know how gross that tastes!” Rena answered, sitting up in her bed and panting.
Kaika nodded, looking from the windowsill to Rena. “You had a nightmare, didn't you?” she asked, standing up and brushing off her dress.
“Yeah,” Rena muttered, looking off into the opposite direction. “They wanna hurt Rena. They hurt Sergios already. Mummy and Daddy dead now. It won't stop until they get Sergios and me,” she stated, shuddering and tearing up. Rena was rather illiterate to say the least, but had a heart to balance it out.
“But they will never get you,” Kaika insisted, gesturing for her roommate to follow her out into the dining room. Rena nodded, reluctantly leaving the safety of her room that she would trap herself in for hours on end, simply remembering them.
Kaika remembered the last time she saw her family; the last time she saw the tears stream from her little sister's eyes. She shook her head, hoping that the horrible memories would vanish, and escaped the confinement of that silly room. - - ♪▪♫ - - ● ● ● ● ϊ'м σъℓϊνϊσύς ας ϊτ ςεεмς

My eyes opened, and were shut again. Aw, come on, don't let me wake up yet...
I rolled over and looked at Kimiko. She was still asleep, to my dismay. Why did I have to be the light sleeper, and she the heavy one? It's not fair!
Before thinking any further, I opened my eyes fully. My hands found them, and rubbed out all of the crust, making me feel slightly less tiresom. I yawned, which obviously didn't help my ability to get my butt out of bed.
Yawn after yawn, I got annoyed by myself. I looked out our tiny window to see our multiple gardens. Flowers. Oh, wait. I turned back to Kimiko, who was still in her sleepy dream land of whateverness. I finally managed to stand up and stretch, and walked across the tiny space.
I bent down, over her bed, and poked her shoulder. "Hey... sis, wake up. Wake up." She mumbled a huff of tiredness. I yawned, and stretched again. I didn't quite realized where my fist was, until I heard a whimper. Not really a whimper, but... whatever.
I stopped extending my limbs, and Kimiko sat up on her arm. She glanced at me with an annoyed expression.
"Why did you punch me?" was her good-morning greeting.
"Huh?"
"You know," she continued, not answering my dumbfounded question, "that hurt. You should stretch where there's actually some room, Akiko."
I then got it, and huffed a laugh. "You should sleep where there's actually some room, Kimiko." We both had a quick giggle. She then hopped out of bed, still in her PJ-dress thing. It flowed around a bit, like a grey ripple of water.
"Let's go get breakfast, shall we?" she questioned. "A healthy breakfast!"
"Jeez... not that again..."
"Yeah. You're going to enjoy it, Akiko!"
I sighed, and followed her to the dining room.

...End of an old dawn~

Yurei
Yurei woke up by the beautiful sound of the morning birds chirping from the outside. She looked to her side to see many of the books and artworks that she keeps with her ever since she left France. Other than seeing her own belongings, Yurei looked at her sleeping roommate, Sakura. Yurei looked back at the ceiling, imagining a picture of Akiko. Why does she loathe Sakura? Yurei always thought of that. She silently -which is normal for her- went to the bathroom to change into her plain white dress. Nothing ever changes, huh? Yurei sighed as she slipped into her sandals. In fact, she never cared about how she looked or dressed, only if Reiyu was still by her side. She slid out of the room to meet Reiyu on the other side of the orphanage (the boys side), and luckily, Reiyu was already there waiting for her.

Reiyu was looking at the doors leading into the other rooms, making sure that nobody else was watching him -but it wasn't like he cared if someone were-. Reiyu soon swithced his attention towards a plain coloured figure approaching him. Yurei, he gleamed. "Hey, Yu."
"Bonjour, Rei." Yurei replied to Reiyu's morning greeting as she smirked to match Reiyu's gleam. "Long time no see."
"Tch, yeah. Hey, wanna go fetch some fresh air?" Reiyu asked politely. He knew that Yurei wasn't the completely adventerous person, but he knew how much Yurei enjoyed the fresh air. "Yeah, how did you know?" Yurei agreed as the two of them started walking towards the entrance/exit. "I just do."
As soon as they stepped into the open, they toop a deep breath to take in the feeling of freedom. Reiyu reached out his arm to take off his jacket as he layed it on the green grass.
"Huh, why'd you take it off?" Yurei asked. "I don't know..." Reiyu shrugged. "Heh heh heh. You totally defeated the purpose of jackets. Kind of like wearing your underwear over your pants, it totally defeats the purpose." Yurei giggled.
"So are you making fun of Superman?" Reiyu gawked. Yurei laughed at that comment, and soon enough Reiyu did too. It's just like the old days, me and Yurei like this.... It's so precious... Why was it precious? Well, as for Reiyu, seeing Yurei all happy-like was unusual these days...Yurei's French Dictionary
