"No more tears tonight, love," She melted in his arms, He whispered as he spoke to her, For once nothing could go wrong, She placed her head onto his shoulder, And with her hand she felt his chest, His heart shattered some time ago, She wondered when it would mend, "There must be a break in the storm somewhere," She spoke but her words were laced with fear, Theirs was a world of death and passion, And the music's grown sadder through the years, "no more talk of darkness, love," the shadows called his name, "I love you more then you will ever know," "Angel, you know I feel the same" In his phantom eyes there was a darkness, He couldn't touch so he tried to feel, "No more memories tonight, love, Because only the music is real," She closed her eyes to the heat of him, Let his caress slowly melt to hers, "only you can sing that sweet song of night, You're the only one who knows the words," He pulled her closer as they danced, Felt her music alive in his, "as long as you're here, I promise you're safe, I love you darling, you know that," "please don't leave me, Angel," She clung to his remaining warmth, "Angel, let me follow you, Because I can't live like this alone," And as they danced they held each other, As if the darkness would go away, They clung to each other like children of God, But not even God can stop Hells flames, He trembled as he lost control, Because even Freedom comes with a price, He turned his head and inhaled the music, And surrendered to the night, She felt his song grow weak in him As his darkness fought the light, She held him close for one last embrace, And let the music fade to silence...

I can't find much at all wrong with this one. It just needs tweeking is all, just like any other normal poem. It's been about a week since you posted it, right? So after a while just periodically look at it and tweek it until you're satisfied.
I like how you used the different colors for their dialogue, because otherwise it would be terribly confusing. I like the theme, the imagery, the hidden messages, and the ending. The ending had impact to it, something that a lot of people like in poems. ^^ You're a good writer.

I really like how you used colours so dialogue stood out. I thought the rhythm could use a bit of tweaking and that some of the commas could be periods, but nothing serious that needed changing. It was a very touching piece and had very strong emotional appeal. Very good job with this one!

I rather enjoyed the rhythm of this poem. Very conversational, yet simplistic with deep meaning. It also smacks of The Phantom of the Opera, which I think is why I read it to begin with *hums one of the many Angel of Music medlies*.
SOme of the commas could have definately been periods, but they also give the pice a kind of rush, almost restless feel, very much the way a lover would try to get everything out before their partner leaves them.
Very powerful piece!

Expect a suing from Andrew Lloyd Webbing; he doesn't want anyone making a song about the angel of music that might actually rank up there with his Phantom melodies.
