Every Year there are people scrambling for rooms and roommates at the last minute. I'm starting this thread now to remind people about getting a place to stay or daily transportation. Hotels for AX will probably go up in February. So if you're planning on a hotel but need someone to split the bill with act early and plan it out.
Thread Rules:
1. Don't reveal any personal information
2. If you know which hotel you want to go to let us know
3. Try to come up with a rough estimate on how much you are willing to pitch in/how many people you can tolerate in a room
4. Next Semester I will bring groups outside during the meetings to help organize.
5. Any other questions please ask
Personally I'll be staying at the Westin Bonaventure, my roommates and price have already been decided, so I am not available to share a room. . . .wtf how did my post end up at the bottom? . . . Okay now it fixed itself??????

Let's save a day, let's save a world... *raises hand* Usual loafing. 8D; I'm actually hoping that--- ohshit I need to buy my ticket now--- I can volunteer and get a room that way and have a car to drive out there and stuff with, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I don't see that happening for 2010. =/ Kinda sucks, but hey, there's life experiences to be had.
tl;dr: If I'm not rooming with the same people as last year [Lady Sicily and Kakuyam, @ Sicily's relative's house], I'll be needing a place to stay and a ride out there. Cheapest ride/living situation, too. I actually don't like spending money.
But I need to talk to Sicily first before I rule out her place.Let's find a place away from these hellholes.

My parents aren't comfortable with me staying in a hotel, so I'll most likely ask my grandma if I could stay at her house this time, and drive myself back and forth each day.

I can help with some situations regarding rooms. If you been to the other cons and met a lot of people, you would most likely get a room instead of getting your own.

I need a place to stay and a ride.. I don't care about how many people are rooming or too much about where it is, but I REALLY need a cheap place to stay for AX. I was going to stay with someone else, but she has something else coming up during that weekend, so she might not be going to AX this year.
But I do need to know how much you guys are estimating room rent/whatever will cost. sad
