This is the Sanctum of the Cetra, a Holy Place for the Cetra, the Children of the Lifestream. A place were mako flows freely and is pure.
The temple is deep under the ground, far away from civilization.

Sephiroth walked slowly towards the center of the stone platform that floated above the exposed Lifestream flowing through the temple.
"Nexis, how long has it been since you've been here?"
Only a handful of people even knew this place existed.
The domed room that they were in was the central chamber of the holy temple.
Carved pillars supported the ceiling, each a depiction of an important Cetra from history.
An eerie mako green glow filled the room, a perfect match for Sephiroth's own mako infused, cat-like eyes.

Sephiroth walked slowly towards the center of the stone platform that floated above the exposed Lifestream flowing through the temple.
"Nexis, how long has it been since you've been here?"

Sephiroth shook his head, "I paid my homage to these mistaken ancestors many times. They weren't to pleased about it then, so I don't do it anymore. They don't seem to mind now."
He sighed and looked at each of the large pillars, remembering when he had mistaken his own past.
"Either way, customs fade and die. Our ancestors understand this. So should we."

Sephiroth blocked the first few calmly, gauging Nexis' speed, pace and power.
"Very good, you're controlled, not using all of your strength right away. But you're forgetting something."
As Nexis continued his flurry Sephiroth let one of the punches slip through and grabbed his wrist, flipping him over his head and hurling him towards the wall.
"It's not all about closed fist, be subtle, graceful. There are no rules when you're fighting for your life. Don't be afraid to grab your opponent and use his own body against him."

*Nexis braced with the wall, twisting around and coming down with an axe strike ((open palm)) toward's Sephiroth's shoulder, his other hand ready to hit in the face/throat if he should happen to miss*

Tell me what you cherish most...
Sephiroth saw Nexis' moves clearly, but wasn't able to block both at the same time due to the awkward angle.
He reached up and crushed Nexis' reserve hand, taking the axe blow to the shoulder.
Rolling his shoulder enough to soften the blow a little he turned to the side and let Nexis fly past, letting go of his hand when it wasn't a danger anymore.
"Very good Nexis, always have a back up. And if the angle is to difficult to avoid multiple attacks, always block the least damaging blow."
