This post is all about you. In order to better maintain the Guild, I would like you to post any information on your strengths and weaknesses as regards to storytelling. Also, any information you volunteer to post about yourself in general.

I'm not so much a storyteller as I am a scholar. I spend most of my time studying myths, folklore, and religion. I specialize in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic lore, as well as Arabic mythology. I also know quite a bit about Greek mythology (but who doesn't?). I also have an interest in the psychology and reasoning behind the myths, and their effects on society. As for original storytelling, I've just begun working on a comic which I plan on turning into a webcomic. I have a few other stories planned to make into comics after the current one is finished, as well.

Hello, fellow storytellers and minstrels. While some have labeled me with the mind of a scholar and others have gifted me with a strong and loyal heart, I shall never take these things unto my own – oh, you get the point. My gift in writing is being wordy. Much to the annoyance of several people. My weakness would be, in a nutshell, a lack of experience. No one has been overly ambitious to listen to my stories until fairly recently, so I am still learning as to what truly pleases an audience. My greatest interest is in character analysis. I like characters with mental disorders especially. If this traumatic event happened to this person, it might give them this disorder, which would make them behave in this manner, which would affect the other characters in this way. Did I mention that I was wordy?

My strengths are putting feeling into words. I usually write poetry and careful choose my words. I want my audience to connect with me and feel what i am trying to say. Also creating characters people can relate to and connect with and love. I probably have a lot of weakness, my writing isnt as could as it could be but i do want to get better at it. Number one weakness- never finishing what i start. I have recently started writing something that i want to finish and that is my goal.

I just realized I never bothered posting here.
Hey, all, it's the cat. You know, that violent alien exile from the planet Healm who's stuck on your planet until I get my hyperspace drive back up and jumping. Don't worry, I wasn't exiled for doing anything atrocious. I, um, actually don't know what I was exiled for.
I never really considered myself I writer so I'm still exploring my... for lack of a better word, skills. But I'm enjoying the learning process.
Strengths? Um... dialogue, I think. I think I have good dialogue. Weaknesses? Lack of environment development. I have a bad habit of leaving the world and surroundings up to the reader.
