Alright, I suggest we get together so I can start assigning people jobs and get this guild off the ground!
The only problem is we all live (mostly) in different time zones and what not.
And we all have different schedules, and pretty much life, in general, creates the problem.
Now, here's what I want everyone to do, since I'm fairly certain that all of you
will get online at least once between now and sunday.
By Saturday, I hope to have answers & see if anyone's available on sunday.
I'm hoping mostly everyone is available on sunday, if not maybe early of next week.
And we'll hold a meeting either in this forum, or on towns.
So here's what I want you to do:
Post a reply with what times ( please state your time zone, too! ) you're
available and on what days from this saturday (tomorrow) to next
saturday & which you prefer, forums or towns. Check this thread on
saturday (night at the latest) to see what we've decided thus far
& if you'll be able to make it.
I'll decide from the majority of who's available and when.

I'm pretty much available all weekend, and I live in the Central Standard Time Zone.
On Tuesdays & Thursdays, I go to school, so I'll only be available on those days at around 8pm CST.
I don't really care, but I would prefer forums because I can keep track
of any and all ideas stated/said in the meeting, so it makes things slightly
easier on me.

Now, I know most of you are wondering why I don't have vice captains yet,
and there is an idea behind that reasoning, that I will, now, explain.
I want to hold a contest for the positions of Vice Captain #1 & Vice Captain #2,
this, of course, will be an event for the guild, which I plan to hold once we
get some more members than just ourselves.
And everyone except Guthwulf is allowed to participate in the contest.
Sorry, love, but you have your own guild to worry about, plus you have a job already.
The way the contest will work is there will be two separate ones.
VC #1 Contest & VC #2 Contest is how they will be specified.
For VC #1 Contest, the participates will fill out a form & must exhibit a
very good knowledge base about steampunk/victorian things.
For VC #2 Contest, since not everyone is an expert and I don't expect
many to be pretty knowledgable about it, the participates will fill out a form
& must be very active & helpful in the guild!
I will be working on this as we gather more members!
The only positions/jobs currently taken are the supervisors of Role-Playing subforums,
which is, currently, taken by beastmastr19 & Guthwulf.
I thought they were best suited for the job seemingly since Beast has a lot
of experience in RPs & Guth is really good with his imagination and turning
them into RP ideas, so I expect the dynamic duo to do their best and not disappoint!
Anything else is pretty much fair game as far as positions/jobs go.
I don't want anyone to not have a job, and I would prefer you to work
in two's, but if you feel you don't want/need to have a partner,
just let me know, and I won't force you.
Shortly after the meeting is finished (whenever we have it),
I want everyone to start inviting their friends,
who they think will show some interest in the guild and be active!

Also, does anyone have any ideas on what questions we would like those non-friend gaians, who want to join, to answer for the join form?

well I'm available all weekend (except 6 pm on Saturday and the rest of the night after, I'll be back by sunday though) and every weekday after 3:30 pm, I live in PST (Pacific Standard Time)

I'm on at random times this weekend. I'm home all day, but I have to help with x-mas decorations & I don't know how long that'll take. On most normal days I'm online in the afternoon and evening, and all day on fridays. I'm on Pacific Standard Time.

Hmm, so far, from what everyone's said, getting this out of the way
asap would be best! So, so far it looks like sunday evening might be the best
for all of us. Not too late, but not too early. I know none of us really go to bed early
by my watch, but I never know, most of you have school, but
I'd wanna get it done by 8pm CST, so if that sounds good to you, just post a reply saying so!
