This really sucks. ):
My parents are the same way. They don't care about me or anything. They even try to keep me away from the 'bad' friends. And they stereotype and judge them before they know them.
Maybe you should see about trying to get medicine for the depression? I'm not sure if it will work, i never took it myself, but i have friends who take meds, and i think it helps a bit.
For me, middle school was the worst because everyone hated me, they started rumors that i was a lesbian n stuff. It just sucked. And on to high school..i had absolutely no friends, and i'm shy so it sucked for most of the years. Now i have friends who i can relate to, they go through the same things i do.
I'm gonna say that, until your situation gets better, your depression is gonna stick with you. Of course you probably already guessed that. But another thing i have to say is that suicide isn't the answer. I'm not saying you're suicidal or that you're thinkin about it, but when i was majorly depressed for months on end, even a few years on end, i definitely thought about it.
Anyways, thats cute that you have your boyfriend to go to, at least you have someone to help you through it all. Hold on and be strong, cuz once you're out of your parent's lives and such, then things should get better.
No Longer Alone
a place where teens that struggle with depression/emotinal pain can come together and talk about how they feel freely =]
