[Holiday Event][12-3-09]
Hey brats, it's your friendly neighborhood Kage again.
Just comin by to let you guys know that we'll be holding a holiday event this year and everyones invited so get your friends together, even if their in other RP and drag their sorry butts over here. It'll be loads of fun.

Well now. Been a while huh folks?
We've been on a bit of a roller coaster ride here and I think it's about time we continue on that ride only on our own tracks. We should be getting back to the Iwagakure we all know and love.
That being said, I, your loving and benevolent Kage, need to know what you rat sucking slaves love about this dirty hell hole? I know what I love but that could just be me.
I decided to start this new New's thread as the first step to clearing up Iwa and getting it back to what it use to be. The old news thread is still around if you need anything from it. Just either look really far down on the list of threads here or in the Memorable OOC subforum on the main page.
So for starters, I'd like to clean up the Shinobi scroll a bit. Ya know, find out who's still breathing and who I can turn into puppets. So we'll be doing an activity check here soon. All that means is that you need to post something, anything really, in the designated thread to let me know not to cut your profile into tinny tiny ribbons.
Next, the academy has gotten pretty huge and stale so I'll be completely recreating that lovely little piece of hell... errr I mean fun. Yea... fun. We'll have some new teachers unless I can get the old ones to come back but don't hold your breath.
Another area I noticed that could use some scrubbing is the team area. I have no clue who's on what team anymore and so we'll be cleaning that up as well. It's not that big so I'll probably just do a new check and wipe all the current ones. We'll see.
Also on the agenda, since it is the season, we'll be having a christmas-ish festival. I realize I did this last year and came upon a wonderful revelation that, technically, no one in Naruto should be celebrating Christmas since none of them are Christian or any other religion that celebrates said holiday. Plus, we probably got a few rpers that aren't celebrates either SO what we'll be doing is the Winter Solstice festive... in the end it'll still be basically Christmas just without a jolly fat man in a red suit.
So folks, come on and be merry and lets have a blast!

(hey, i have a brilliant idea. Let Zanza teach in the academey instead of that one mission we tryed working on but never got around to doing because we're a couple of lazy asses.. plus zanza's more than qualified(not to meantion I've had really nothing to do for.... months? I'll probubly be better about being active if other people actualy want to roleplay wink
