I for one have never been found of marijuana or other drugs for that matter, however it seems like people will continue to do these things no matter what and pots not the most worry some. Legalizing it would probably supply the U.S. with quite a large amount of income from tax revenues that will be inevitably placed upon the marketed product.

It would bring in quite alot of money, Sac.
Take the barrels that the U.S. gets oil shipped in. If you fill one of those with Marijuana, it's worth about fifty barrels of oil. It would gt America out of debt very quickly. And the government has more fields of Cannabis than Tobacco, so they would be distributing and taxing it within a week of it being legalized.
It would also get thousands of people that were caught selling or using, out of jail. Which would free the jails for real criminals.

If the government was truly worried about making space in the prisons there would actually be Death one Death Row.
