I have to wonder, and so I shall ask: How would you describe it?
My husband says it feels like being burned apart from the inside. It sounds awful, as I can barely function right now with acid reflux. That's just my stomach/esophogas/throat. He is talking about his whole body.

When I had keytones I only had them once and it was before I even knew I was diabetic.
I just felt very slow, tired, achey, and sluggish =c

DKA in a nutshell: Your spine aches All of your ribs feel like they're melting inside you You can't move Can't speak Can't see Can't even breathe. Being hit by a car would be preffered over DKA. Or being stabbed Or beaten to a bloody pulp. It's the most excruciating pain you will ever feel. I'd like to say it's more painful than child birth, but I don't know that from personal experience and don't feel like being slapped by someone who does. So basically, you're being eaten alive by your own body. So yeah.
