I've never had legit modeling training or an actual agent.
An agent from Barbizon kinda stalked me at the mall a month ago and asked me to sign up for an interview with them.
My interview is Sunday- I'm so excited!
Discuss: interviews, modeling training, mall stalkers, etc etc.

Barbizon Modeling School? It might be a scam. I Googled Barbizon: lots of hits about scams showed up. You never know.
Modeling and acting schools aren't usually legitimate. Many legit universities have a Theater program, and many have runway shows.
But if it turns out to be an actual modeling school -- congrats. Just be careful.

No no, not for a modeling school.
It's for like a free photoshoot. I guess for exposure and whatnot.
I know, I've heard a lot of people tell me to beware of scams. I've dealt with this type of stuff before.
I always tell myself that they should be paying me, I shouldn't be paying them.
They said it's like a one-day gig that'll prep me if I want to continue in the modeling venue.
I googled it - and I saw the modeling school. That's not what I signed up for, and if they try to push that on me, then tough luck for them.

How tall are you and what size do you wear?
If you have to pay them, they aren't good. Usually agents take a percentage of profits from jobs.

Hmm, I'm reconsidering this thing now that I've actually really google'd it.
I'm probably gonna take my parents' offer up and go try for Ford.

If you can get a free picture from it, do it.
But make sure you don't do overly cheesey or overly sexy.
