You know what the weird thing is? Even after SMeyer went to all that trouble to describe Edward's "beautiful eyes/skin/hair/body" every few seconds, I suddenly realize I still don't know much about his appearence. For all we know, he might have a mane, walk on 4 legs, and have a horn in the middle of his forhead. Hmm... neutral

I've noticed that most of the people who post on this really only talk about the sparkles, and not anything else, like the hidden messages in it about her Mormonism or the fact that it's just plain terrible writing. If you're only gonna dis it because of the fact that they sparkle, then i dont really think you're very educated. This is why people think that those who dont like it are stupid or crazy, because you're not backing up your argument enough.

I too get tired of the sparkly jokes, but I know so many vampire fans that are just so upset over what she did to the mythology of the vampire that I feel they deserve a little slack. I personally have a huge problem with the sparkles. I happen to like sparkles, rainbows and other bright shiny things. S. Meyer has forever linked sparkles with those ridiculous books. I look forward to reading what you have to have about the books full of Mormonism, some how I missed that.

I seriously have read her books and yes her writing DOES suck. I really do think that her sentence structure and overall delivery of the plot needs to be mended with the great surgeon known as STEPHEN KING, who DID say she can't write worth a damn. But right now in this forum, if the topic is how much we hate their roll on glitter aspect, then we can rant about that. If you want to talk about the other bs that she spews then start a thread, I would be happy to rant on that too.

I wonder how many people who critize the books have even read them, because most haters just talk about sparkles. I've read the books(I personally enjoyed the SECOND HALF of breaking dawn(cuz of the egyptians and amazons)), but her books DO SUCK CRAP! Those are not real vampires for Dracula's sake! I just hate the characters! They're all Mary and Gary Sues!
