I'm getting $300 for a job coming up soon, and I wanted to know if I should get L4D2 oooooooor~ Assassin's Creed 2.

Why not both? You are getting $300. If not both, then I'd get Left 4 Dead 2 because of the replayability and the fun you could have with friends.

I'm getting $300, yes, but I also have to pay the Phone bill, fill up my truck, get my Auger fixed, and a whole lot of other things that will strip me of my cash. I would like to get L4D2, but I'm probably only gonna play it when I'm offline at a friend's or my mom's house. Anywho, ain't the A.I. still crap, or did they fix it?

It's not terrible, but that makes the occasional terrible thing it does stand out.
Personally, I'd say you should go with Left 4 Dead 2. It depends on which genre of game you prefer, though, ultimately.
