I got it out of the library and reading it a ton I'm already like 1/3 of the way done it's really good it recommended it to anyone!

I liked the hobbit!! I thought it moved a little slow in the beginning, but towards the middle it really picked up!

Evelyn Luminariel Does it have only hobbits, or does it have elves and humans too? One wizard, one hobbit, and twelve dwarfs. Also featuring an assortment of trolls, goblins, wolves, eagles, spiders, elves, humans and a big ol' dragon. Warmly recommended. smile

Neat, I'll read it. I already checked out Fellowship of the Ring from the library. Hey, someone's got to take a stand against all those fangirls carrying around copies of Twilight. ninja

Warmly recommended. smile im reading the hobbit and i thought there were 13 dwarfs since Gandalf was the one to find the 14th person for the dwarves expidition question confused

I don't really like The Hobbit. It's written for kids, and it shows. The text is quite childish and the characters are flatter than in LOTR.

but i've realized that most books are written at a 4-8 grade level so yeah is gonna be a bit childish but thats not what counts. what counts is how the book ended.
