Like the Giants and their big win after 4 consecutive losses, so have I rebounded with a 4-1 after back to back 1-4 weeks. Now it's time to see if I can follow up.

Seattle at St. Louis- The Rams have been suprisingly playing good teams really tough. From a near upset against the Saints to a potential come back win over the Cardinals. Seattle, has shown nothing in the past few weeks that they can hang tough against the tough teams. This is my upset game of the week.
WINNER- ST. LOUIS RAMS

Carolina at N.Y. Jets- both still have hopes for the playoffs, both have slim chances, one will most likely see those chances shatter to oblivion when they loose this weekend. Carolina is playing decent football, if not good football and have the heart of a team trying. N.Y. on the other hand shared the same fate as their ailing rookie QB. For the Jets, keep Sanchez in there for the rest of the season, let him work out his growing pains the rest of his rookie year, and hope he will rebound next season. The Panthers will live to fight another day.
WINNER- CAROLINA PANTHERS

Jacksonville at San Francisco- This really is a close one. If the 49ers decide to have Smith and the offense go from a spread offense earlier, or just spot the Jaguars 20 points from the get go, they will win this game, since Alex Smith and the 49ers seem to play their best football when battling from behind. The Jags aren't as good of a team as their record indicates. I think they will miss the playoffs, and this weekend will help cement that for them. Their first trip out west ended horribly with a 41-0 loss to Seattle. This week will add another L.
WINNER- SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Chicago at Minnesota- Though they have fallen from the undefeated ranks, Brett Favre and the Vikings can still quite be the most dangerous team in the NFL. The Bears, like many other teams are still on life support for the playoffs, but will most likely be taken off with another loss to their division rival.
WINNER- MINNESOTA VIKINGS

New England at New Orleans- Like the Vikings, the Patriots are quite possibly the most dangerous team in the AFC. I don't think any team would be looking foward to playing them in the post season. But where the Patriots have shown weaknesses, the Saints have proven they can win from any and every possible way. Offensively, defensively, special teams wise, from behind, protecting the lead. But many people have circled this game as the moment of truth game for the Saints to see if they are as great as their 10-0 record indicates. I believe they will loose eventually before the playoffs, but not this week.
WINNER- NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Recap- Rams, Panthers, 49ers, Vikings, Saints
