The Comrade Report
http://ed-pedia.org/index.php?title=Gracchvs
Hello MCS, Welcome to the Comrade Report.
This is an irregular news letter reporting on guild controversies, events and political machinations. An attempt to simplify them and help you, the political voice, understand what's going on.
Issue number two will cover breaking news. There is a wiki for the extended discussion and you could be in it.
ED-PEDIA
Extended Discussion Main troll and long-time Devils Advocate, Macai, recently began an ambitious project to document the micro-society of the Extended Discussion, as well as the micro societies of its sub-forums on a wikipedia adaptation. This was done by stealing the (publicly available) source code, in the same vein as Encyclapedia Dramatica, Conservapedia, or any other such themed replication of wikipedia.org. He dubbed this website, ED-pedia.org.
The MCS was no exception, it has its own page authored by a mixture of MCS members and their opponents when the Extended Discussion, Politcs subforum created a list of major political guilds.
Prominent members of the EDP, including a few who are in the MCS have received their very own pages. Notably, is the current elected captain, Gracchvs whose request to have other members comment their thoughts on him on his own page led to many interesting quotes. Comrade Rob speculated that this and the other Communists' presence on the site is due to their ability to stir up drama (quote at bottom).
Gracchvs's infamy in the EDP as well as controversies past probably led to this. When the Comrade Report questioned Gracchvs on his thoughts, he responded by explaining his pleasant surprise at the controversy he stirred.
"I really didn't expect people to post anything.
...
I just didn't want people to overwrite my article with nonsense. Though people are free to edit the article if they feel it is actually wrong".
(full quotes and context at bottom)
The reliability of such public sites, especially in this case, when the site is so user-oriented it tends to reflect the disposition of an author to their subject, is called into question. Between combatting the endless hordes of the undead, Comrade Kotka found the time to reflect and found herself frustrated at the existing inaccuracies of her own article. She did note however, that she could fix that herself.
The implications of this site on the ED, EDP and MCS communities is for now unknown, but one thing is for certain,
This reporter attained a respectable status as an admin, and this reporter will definitely not abuse his power.
Elections:
In other news, the MCS will hold its first elections since the mass exodus that occurred at the dramatic conclusion of the last one. Gracchvs will seek re-election in what looks to be a veritably boring election, with fewer votes than ever, and far less impassioned speeches and debates. This reporter can only wonder if it is a good or bad thing.
That's all for now,
This is the Comrade Report, and you're on MCS.

Comrade Rob
I think the communists are only there because we generate the most drama
Comrade Kotka
Oh, haha, sorry, I was watching Michael shoot zombies. I think it's okay. Except that my entry is only semi-accurate. I'll fix it eventually.
Gracchvs
I really didn't expect people to post anything. I thought that by putting in an opinion section, people would think 'he wants us to talk about him, ******** off!' but it seems the Aeroguard failed, and the bugs are flying around me.
luckily, however, they are cute little ladybugs, and I like them. ^_^
actually, that wasn't why I did it I just didn't want people to overwrite my article with nonsense. Though people are free to edit the article if they feel it is actually wrong.
