1) Everyone recommend this guild. It will increase its chances of being featured and also will probably move it up on the guild listings when you search for "lord of the rings." Right now we're at the bottom of the list. We need to change that.
2) Don't forget to post!
3) (one of my fav methods) Inundate Mystery Google with this phrase: " Join the Official Lord of the Rings Guild on Gaia Online! " Go to mysterygoogle.com, copy-paste it into the search box, click the back button, repeat. Do this as often as you wish. Mystery Google gives you whatever the person before you searched for, and is a popular way of conveying messages. Chances are, if enough people do this, it will make it onto mylifeisaverage.com, which a LOT of people read. Then, the Guild will really get a lot of popularity. Yay for viral marketing!

Also, when inviting people from the LOTR subforum, say this:
Please join our Guild! I know you like LOTR. We have awesome roleplay, character tektek contests, and lots of hilariously captioned LOTR pictures! Also, counted among our members are Legolas, Aragorn, Eomer, Faramir, Elladan, Thranduil, and Elrohir. ^_^
