Dean sat in his room, staring out the window with his chin in his hand. He let out a quiet sigh, listening to all the people in the parties all along his street.

A small clink hit Dean's window. After a minute, another followed. A small pebble bounced off the frosted windowpane, resting on the small ledge outside the windowsill.
Harmony jumped up and down slightly, her teeth chattering as she tossed another pebble.

Dean glanced down at Harmony, his face blank.
He sighed and got up from his bed,slipping on a black long sleeve shirt as well as some bandages on his wrists. He hid the small blade in his drawer before trotting down to open the door for Harmony.

Harmony threw her arms around his neck as soon as he opened the door, spinning him around with the force of her hug before she released him.
"Happy New Years," she said, smiling brightly. She held his shoulder to steady him. "Haven't seen you in a while."

Dean gently wrapped his arms around her waist when she hugged him.
He forced a small smile. "Happy new years."He said quietly "I've missed you."

Harmony sighed quietly in defeat. She put her hands on both of his cheeks, using her thumbs to pull his lips into a grin. She smirked.
"Come on, work with me here."

Dean blinked and sighed, forcing himself to grin. His smile was believable enough that even he wouldn't be able to tell if it was fake or not.

Harmony shut the door behind them and pulled her hand from his. She put her hands on her hips.
"Okay. What's eating you?" she asked. Her voice wasn't cold or demanding, but it was less than warm.

Harmony smiled slightly and gratefully accepted the mug. "Thanks," she said softly. Even though it was still midday, it was cold enough outside to freeze the fur off of a polar bear. Not that it was anything she wasn't used to.

Dean decided not to have hot chocolate for himself so he tugged his sleeves over his hands and sat on the counter.
