I had a thought if this is a role playing guild then it make sense to have an a thread to compare and contrast various weapons that people know about or think they know about.
This is that thread.
lets start with my favorite weapon and the name sake of this guild the Katana.

I prefer hand to hand combat in the real world. For me being a mixed martial arts fighter, it's what I do. But in the gaming world, I would have to go with a katana. Hence the name of this guild.

Being half Tongan, I would say the club. A heavy end with the other end being fit for the hand, grooves run up to the business end with a square end. There are pictures of a Tongan war club online, it is intricately designed and perfectly simple. When its in your hand, you want to hit somebody! Thousands of years of warrior tradition running through your veins, you just want to see some brains!

In the real world I do prefer the axe but like I said before I do love the katana. I actually have a mini katana it is really cool but the katana requires more training than an axe and also the katana doesn't fit my fighting style or personality.
