The Lelansk and Lelanné can be joined in a ceremony, which has no set speech. They are permanently bound to one another. The Lelansk and Lelanné are normally very dark and mysterious, but have a great respect for each other and their followers. The Lelansk procures his position by the old Lelansk electing him into power, or by blood. He will then serve until he sees fit.
The Lelanné may have a child if she performs a specific ceremony with the Lelansk (this also works for other vampires.) At dusk, they light candles in a pentagram and stand in the centre of the pentagon, hands entwined in the others, until midnight. The Lelanné will be expecting the child to be brought into the world in exactly three months. If they do have a child, that child will be the next leader. The Lelansk and Lelanné may only have one child.
