Marshmallows Of Pink

PostPosted: Sun Nov 22, 2009 11:26 pm

I hated the somewhat recent zebra prints. It became over-played and turned out tacky after being used so many times. I even see it now, still. I mean, yea it's cute, just it started being on EVERYTHING. But it was more of a summer trend. User Image

While I admit to having bought two items -- cardigans -- with zebra print on them, I only regret one of them. It's too large and obnoxious, and I never really wear it.

Let me think... I have always hated those bubble skirt things, and the bathing suits with cutouts. The bubble skirts I hate because they make simply everyone look gigantic, and the cutout bathings suits because they are too hard to put on!

Mostly, in general, I hate when people go out in tracksuits with no intention of exercising. And I have always disliked Uggs. Did you know that in England, they're considered house shoes? Wearing them out would be like wearing your bedroom slippers out in the US.

Well I have too, which was a sweater. The black bubble skirts looked like trash bags, it was horrible.

The cut-out suits were supposed to seem more slimming though I thought.

And I heard that. Or I thought it was Austrailia. Either way I bet it made the US seem kinda dim DX.

- I never was a fan of Uggs, except for the cardi ones. I actually want a pair of those.

- Leggings as pants... sorry, no. I mean, at least wear a top that covers your backside. =/

- The mass of vampire/Twilight tees in every store were also a little unnecessary. XD But whatever.

Uggs (lol short for Ugg-ly) are okay as long as you don't wear them everyday (I use them as good winter boots, and cover them with jeans). Like Finch said, it's casual wear. They were originally designed to be for surfers after they had finished being in the water. I don't agree with flip-flops, but I'm never going to win that argument.

I think leggings would go well if you wore a classy short dress. I was thinking of that one dress that has elastic around the shoulders and elastic in between the thigh and the butt. Obviously you would wear it with a nice jacket and bold accessories.

What scared me was the ninja trend for guys! God, wearing costume for a convention or Halloween is one thing but everyday?! I can only take the pain so much... Maybe I was the only one who saw boys dressing overkill with an obsessive amount of the color black.

I also didn't like the feather fashion this year, not that it was bad, people abused the feather hairpieces and looked like bird puked up on their hair.

-colored denim
-really big ear gauges (ewwwwww)
-distressed denim is ok, but when it's overly shredded to the point where it looks trashy, then it belongs in the garbage
-shutter shades *shudders* ugh...
why the ******** people would want sunglasses you can't see out of is beyond me. They were dumb on Kanye, they're dumb on everyone else.

On colored denim:

I still like red denim, but that's all. I'm more partial to dark rinses and completely black jeans.

Lighter denim is what I really dislike.

Light denim makes your thigh area look wider.

Especially a fade wash on darker denim. The fade on the thigh section accentuates it, therefore making it look bigger.

I go for dark washes xD

Same! I read that in seventeen a year ago actually ever since then I've been getting darker jeans. It really works!

Most colored denim products.
Leggings as pants.
The whole neon thing. Yeah, I went through the stage and all, but now it's horrible.
Over-sized studs.

I also really hate whiskering around the top of the denim of your jeans, like really obvious white lines on your legs, on wither side of the crotch area. To me, whiskering in general looks really fake, and unattractive.
I however, do love denim so dark blue that it's close to black, or solid black denim, with no fading.

I just think they look classier, more expensive, and work well with more outfits. You look like a ho when you wear heels with light denim, but pair them with dark-wash jeans and you're good to go.

I'm sick of seeing North Face jackets (the same black one) on every girl, and they all tend to wear the camel-feet Ugg boots (the cankle-causing beige ones) with sweat pants or track pants tucked in.
s**t's terribad!

Those Uggs in general are not to be worn out of the house.
My mother's friend from Australia (a guy, Damien...in his 60s or so) visited America to see his mother-in-law and was like "...why are all of those girls wearing their slippers out of the house?"
Oh boy, did I lol...
I may add, the Ugg boots with miniskirts and "sexy" shirts looks horrendous too. My roommate from last year wore her Ugg boots to clubs. I was like "wtf are you serious?"

The neon denims and a majority of the graphic tees make me cringe, especially when put together...
I prefer denim to be...denim. Or black, on occasion.
Skinny jeans usually look horrible too, unless worn with boots or something.
But I hate the skinnies/converse/flats/flip-flops look, it isn't flattering on the vast majority of people.

I dislike bubbleskirts, but I have seen one or two people pull it off.
Animal prints and neon colors can be really sexy/chic, but so many people over-do it in their outfits. So...I don't hate those two trends, but I cringe sometimes.

I almost always wear skinny jeans, usually with flats and sometimes with flat boots. Never with heels -- and I don't own any kind of shoe with laces, except for my running shoes, so no Converse, Nikes, or whatever.

But! I also have no curves. Zero. Zip. So, I think it's neither unflattering or flattering. It just... is.

Ew, Uggs to a club? That's gross.
