Name- Duane Abyss

Age- Looks 27, actually 89.

Height- 6 ft, 4 in.

Appearance- Duane is a tall, strong black man. His lips and ears are big, his hair is long, greasy, and jet-black, and his piercing eyes are as black as night, resembling black holes that suck you into his gaze. His teeth are white, his chin is shaven, and his eyebrows are thin. Also, Duane's incredibly skinny. By looking at him, you'd never believe he was as strong as he is. Although, despite being as skinny as a twig, his arms and legs still are compacted with muscles, and he even has a thin-but-strong six pack.

Duane's hollow hole is located at the back of his head, where his throat begins. When Duane opens his mouth, you can see the area behind him through the hole! His hollow mask covers his upper lip, like a broken jaw. His mask fragment has jaws that reach all the way down to his chin, reaching over his lower lip. Duane wears a long, thin, and white long-tunic, that reaches down to his ankles, over black clothing. The collar, sleeves, undershirt, and pants are all black, but the long-tunic is white.

Accessories- Duane keeps his dog tags from World War Two hidden under his garb. The first contains his real name, "Duane Smith." The other one contains his old nick name, "Black Hole."

Zanpakuto- Duane's sealed zanpakuto is a long short-sword. (Ha ha, oxymoron.) The guard and grip are both jet black. What makes Duane's blade unique, though, is that it has no hilt. This allows Duane to wield his thick weapon swiftly and precisely. The blade looks like a normal katana's, but its just a few centimeters wider, and shorter. Duane's zanpokuto is a great defensive weapon, and its unique design allows it to be used as an offensive weapon too!

Release- Devour, (Spit Fire)!

Release Appearance- Duane becomes coated in an armor made of the same white, bony material that hollow masks are made of. His movable joints, such as his wrists, elbows, knees, fingers, and such are covered by a lighter, darker, and more flexible material. His mouth, nose, and ears are also covered by a mask of the same material. His eyes and forehead are the only things left uncovered. On Duane's shin, and the pinkey sides of his arms, shark-fin-like structures jut out of his armor. Also, down the center of his chest plate, there is a zig-zagging line that travels from the top to the bottom of his body-armor.

But, the what makes Duane's release unique are the 26 large, beast-like, and fanged mouths that are located all-throughout the surface of Duane's armor! The mouth's locations are: One is his real mouth, one on each shoulder (2), one on his abdomen, one on the backs of his forearms (2), one on each palm (2), one on his back, one on the end of each finger (10), One one the fronts of his upper legs (2), one on the backs on his lower legs (2), one the soles of his feet (2), and one on his chest, right in the center of the jagged line that splits his chest-plate. All of his mouths are horizontal, except only for the one on his chest, which is vertical.

Release Abilities- Duane can use the fin-like protrusions on his shins and arms as defensive weapons, and with much precision as offensive weapons too, but there effectiveness is limited. Duane's main released powers all revolve around the 26 mouths that are scattered over his body. He has several abilities as well. His first power, which is the easiest for him to use, is to fire ceroes and balla blasts from his mouths. The attacks aren't any stronger than usual, but when he uses his mouths to charge them, he can charge them faster, meaning he only has to charge a cero just a few seconds before he can fire it.

Secondly, Duane can use his mouths to suck in certain objects from his surroundings, such as sand, water, rocks, or even just air. Then, inside his body, Duane can fuse his reiatsu with the absorbed objects, compress and condense them, and then fire them at will out of any mouth he chooses as a form of projectile. With this ability, he can create sandstorms, shoot rocks like bullets, shoot pressurized water cannons, or even shoot piercing blasts of air!

Lastly, Duane's mouths have the ability to absorb reiatsu from his surroundings, using it to heal himself, or to power up his own attacks. But, there are limits on this power. Duane can only absorb reiatsu from a person if the fangs of his mouths are attached to his target. And even then, he can only absorb a fixed amount of reiatsu at a time. A strong-enough shinigami would be able to break free of Duane's grasp before he drained them of any significant amount of reiatsu.

Duane can absorb the reiatsu from kido-based attacks, but as mentioned earlier, Duane can only absorb a fixed amount of reiatsu at a time. If the attack was fast and strong enough, Duane wouldn't be able to absorb the entire attack before it collided with him. He maybe dull the attack down from lethal to extremely painful, but that's about his limit. Duane's biggest advantage is his ability to use his surroundings to his advantage. Also, Duane's natural speed and strength allow him to be a very well-rounded fighter.

Skills- Duane is as fast, and as strong, as any other espada, but they're not his most outstanding traits. Duane's most outstanding trait is his natural defenses. His Hierro is extremely hard, harder than the other espadas', and his released abilities allow him to (somewhat) heal himself if he becomes injured. Not only that, his sealed zanpokuto is designed for defensive fighting. Due to those natural defenses of his, Duane only focuses on full-out offensive techniques. He carelessly dashes into dangerous situation without worrying about his safety. That disposition allows him to fight at his fullest, but often it costs him dearly.

Personality- Duane is dark, and old fashioned. He was a soldier in World War 2, after all. His first life, tainted by death, and obscured by being completely obedient, has turned the new Duane into a cold-hearted, robotic killer. He doesn't think twice about killing on order, but he's not merciless. If he must kill, he will make it fast and painless. He doesn't like to make others suffer, only to follow orders. Duane would much rather be off reading or exercising than killing, but Duane has not failed to follow an order yet, no matter how difficult or ridiculous the task.

Due to the location of Duane's hollow hole, he is not able to eat food normally. He must absorb his nutrients by draining reiatsu from his surroundings, which he can only do by touching an object made of reiatsu and slowly absorbing it. He can also feed by killing a hollow, and absorbing the reiatsu from its mask. His most efficient way of feeding is through his released powers, but Duane refuses to release unless ordered to do so. He says his released form is too frightening. Because his only method of feeding is slow and complicated, Duane is always hungry. This is made worse by the fact that Duane has always been a man with a big appetite. Due to this empty feeling, Duane calls himself the abyss. No matter how much reiatsu he absorbs, it's never enough!
