"The Muse of Music?"Callida said as she entered the cabin. Maybe there should have been just a Muses cabin, since this cabin seemed a tad, lonely. She brushed her brown hair out of her green sparkling eyes, and got a better look at her new cabin.
The walls were painted a soothing olive, and the floor boards were one that were used for a stage. Violins and lyres sat in the back, and they were polished nicely. The beds, nine of them, sat in the back, near the back door, like they didn't really matter. A soft melody played in her ears, Mozart, her favorite composer. Papers and pens sat on the right side, while a small recording booth sat on the right. There was a large window near the back door, and allowed so much light in, but she wasn't blinded. The curtains were a beige, and she supposed the colors had been picked out by her mother. It smelled of brass and wind instruments, and the air felt soothing and calm. Callida was surprised. The cabin had been made quite quickly when she was claimed by some hot Hephaestus boys and the Apollo kids had done some decoration. They were the best to make the cabin after all, seeing as there were no other Muse children, yet.
She stiffened her back, then exhaled the smells of outdoors. Callida wanted to breathe, smell, like her cabin. She wanted to smell like she was claimed, she belonged. And now she did, she was claimed. By a muse, she kept thinking. She wasn't one for being taken aback for a while, but this thought made her stand in the doorway, gawking.
"Well, I am the first in this cabin. That's good because I'll probably be a cabin leader. It's good because I get first picks to which bed I want. It's bad because I am lonely. It's bad because I have no friends,"she said softly to herself.
The Euterpe cabin was next to the Ampitrite cabin, right? And the Janus and Zephyr. She guessed that her neighbors would be okay if she came and chatted with them. For a lonely cabin was, how she put it, lonely.

Callida sat down on her bed. How she wished she had siblings. Her cabin was old and empty, and without life. This was the Euterpe cabin, right? Music should be everywhere. Yet, none rested in her ears.

Gemma flopped down on her bed, she'd rather be in the clamped up hermes cabin than a cabin with no one in it.
