The irony of those who support Che (Particularly where I live) is that they wear his shirts and have his picture but many of them do not understand or support communism. But, last time I visited Bolivia (When I went to La Higuera) I met lots of people who knew a lot about him and for what he stood. I'm think that Che's ideals in the more wealthy parts of the world may be lost.

Che is also very humanist/idealistic which im finding prevalent within South American Left Rev... and thats what happens when you have something like that occuring....

It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality.” -Ernesto “Che” Guevara It's true though. Unless you love the people, you won't get off your a** to fight for them.

Love doesn't start revolutions. Material conditions do. Without THAT, it is impossible to think of a genuine revolution.

He was talking about revolution aries. It's people we're talking about, not economic conditions.

Trotskyites aren't entitled to talk about someone that despised them so thoroughly.

Michelito Briggs Trotskyites aren't entitled to talk about someone that despised them so thoroughly. We're all entitled to talk about who we want, here. Regardless, he isn't talking about Che, though, but about something he said. And I will say this about the man: He was principled, nad he was willing to go the length. But he was not, in any way, shape, or form, a Marxist. His ideology rejects the working class, and focusses on the military struggle of a small group. This is effectively a kind of agrarian Blanquism. Except Blanqui could be forgiven his sins. He was a stepping-stone to Marxism. Che was stepping away.

我爱你。。。(Wǒ ài nǐ...)Eh, Che is a pretty cool guy. Became a materialistic, pop culture icon and doesn't afraid of anything.
Obama's catching up with the whole materialistic icon thing. Saw a kid at school wearing a shirt 3 sizes too large with Obama's face on it today in my biology class. Ironically, this kid also had a strong weed odor upon him and was sitting next to me. Dear god it was so freaking strong... Why can't people just spray themselves with something to remove a bit of that odor. gonk
[Went off topic, sorry...] 永远。。。(Yǒng yuǎn...)
