Crosshaven Courthouse

I am looking for people who might be interested in filling in one of the following roles in the courthouse: Judges and attorneys. These roles will be employed only when there is a court proceeding on the agenda, but they should be a good deal of fun. Jurors will be chosen at random from active members and asked to read the trial transcript (the case thread) before coming to a decision.

To become a judge or attorney character, please take the role seriously. If your character doesn't meet the kinds of background qualifications for one of these professionals, you can create a mule character.

The trial of Aveto is set to begin.

Aveto is accused of the crime of murder.
He will be represented by Natsuki.

The state will be represented by attorney Jim Franck (Played by Blood on Roses)

The presiding judge will be (Decided by an open poll.)

Witnesses to be called include: Aylen, Myles, Nina, Detective Savant, and Constable Jones.

Natsuki walks in quietly and takes a seat next to Aveto. She puts her briefcase on the table in front of the two. She sits and whispers lowly to Aveto her stragedy. After she is done, she waits until the trial begins.

(( The "jury" will be a post-poll after the trial ends. I was planning on NPC'ing the judge, but if you would rather it be another player, I will find someone who is not otherwise affiliated with the trial. We can go ahead and do opening statements while I'm looking, though. ))

If you don't want me to play the judge, (Also known as "playing an NPC") then I will look for someone else to play the judge. ))
