Alright, since we've had a bit of trouble trying to figure out who does what language (or at least, I have), come here to claim the languages you want to do. If there's one you want that's already taken, don't fret, you can easily be a helper and still do lessons.

If you don't see a language you speak here, then it's up for grabs. Please post here if you want to teach a language, or have any questions. Also post here if you'd like to switch your language lessons to someone else. Please do not make a thread before you have posted here.

I can assume so, if you're willing to give lessons.

I'm willing to give lessons in Middle Egyptian smile
That's been 'extinct' for over 3000 years.

When I was 13, all I ever wanted to be was an Egyptologist :3

I'll be very interested to see how this plays out - Middle Egyptian is all yours :3

Most think that Latin is extinct (my teacher would protest otherwise). I suppose I could teach it (with lots of help from my textbooks mrgreen )

Same here. smile

Before that, it was paleontologist. After Egypt, I became obsessed with Mesoamerica and I wanted to study that instead. XD

Lawlz. I can teach Sicilian, that isn't natively spoken anywhere anymore, not since Rome conquered Sicily. =/
Though I can't imagine anyone wanting to learn it xD

I thought that Sicilian is still spoken by about 8 million people...

That's what wiki says, lmao.
It very well may be, but it's no longer the official language of any currently-existing nation, thus is no longer taught. My cousins who were born and raised in Sicily do not speak the language. The majority of the speakers are spread throughout the world, and learned from their uneducated parents.

Edit: Rome refuses to allow Sicilian schools to teach the Sicilian language.

i've done about 4-5 years of Latin, so perhaps i could teach if anyone is willing to learn 3nodding

i'm also learning ancient greek (attic), although i'd rather be an aid than teach because i've done one semester and haven't learned all the grammar just yet. biggrin

I know latin. I can teach it or help if anyone else wants to teach it. Though there might be difficulty teaching with others because I learned Classic latin.
