I do not read. So I do not know the differences from the book to the movie. However, I watched New Moon last night and I cried (mainly cause it reminded me of my bf). It was so great! That was a really emotional movie.

I haven't read the books or seen the movie but I think the whole series is stupid. They give vampires a bad name. Don't know about the werewolves...Though I bet they give them a bad rep as well. I'm a lycan but I still have respect 4 vamps and scream VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE!!!! scream

Ah yes. Haven't seen the movie. But I can say for the book that werewolves are depicted as male native Americans. Yes, there is one female eventually, but she is the first one heard of and she must have a lot of testosterone. Also, she can't have children now because of the wolfyness. So in addition to racism there's also sexism with Meyer's werewolves. And I'm sorry, but American Indian? Are we just going to disregard the fact that the first "wolf-hunts" took place in Europe? That is where the myth began? Yeah, nice job, Meyer.

I thought New Moon was quite good, actually. ;3; I hated Bella, though. Choosing Edward over Jacob. I'm not a supporter of either, but just the fact that she flirted with Jacob and then went back to Edward without a second thought, is what pissed me off. xD I just think it should be Jacob x Edward, then all these problems wouldn't happen.
