A Pretty Poem

[Madame Espritdeau]

I live on the Land,
My heart's with the sea.
With it's mystery and depth,
Always calling me.

The sky may be high,
and the earth may be low,
but a person's heart
may flee and go.

It runs to the sea
Or flys in the sky.
Digs in the earth,
Not even saying bye.

Angels and Demons,
Tyrants and Gods,
Monsters and Magic,
Against all odds.

I lived on the Land,
With my soul now gone.
My heart's in the ocean,
Like an old whale song.

The angels shun me,
The demons to,
The ocean shall welcome,
Between the 2.

Tyrants will rule,
Gods will be,
Monsters will fight,
Near the sea.

The magic will survive,
Against the odds.
The sea holds my heart,
While my soul to the gods.

Forever gone,
With nothing more,
I have now passed,
Through another door.

This is a sad song
About the me and the sea
I belong to it,
And that shall always be.
