That the aquarium lanterns are wrong? The ィ and ア are in katakana, but the が is in hiragana! A katakana ga looks like this: ガ
rofl If you don't know what I'm talking about, visit my aquarium and take a look for yourself. ^_^

I think they just wrote them a little more curvy... The ア and the イ are both very curvy too. I don't think they really wrote が... They stayed pretty straight at the top... They were just trying to make it look vintage and pretty ^_^

No, see the hiragana ga has a third stoke, while the katakana ga only has 2. The little mark to the upper right - you can see both the hashmarks that turn ka into ga and one other stroke... which makes it hiragana, not katakana.

Yeah I noticed it too... I'm sorry it took me a min -_-; I haven't been in japanese class for almost 6 months... I guess the extra little stroke completely went over my head -_-; lol oh well sorry -_-;
