Ghost's?
I know this on is a long shot, but I thought that I would ask.
I do in away. But I have my own theory on them. But let's put it this way, I don't believe that they are soul's, angel's, or demon's or whatever. I just believe that they are various forms of energy. Perhap's energy that the body leaves, after one dies.
But who really know's.
I also think the Freud's idea on ghost's is a good one.
He think's that people see ghost's because they're afraid of death. So in that sense, ghost's aren't real but the mind trick's you into thinking they are.
So what are your thought's and oppinions on ghost's or the paranormal in general?
and if you have a ghost story to tell, it would be really cool to hear them.
edit: I do not believe that ghost's are hallucination's. I was throwing that out there for the skeptic's who do not believe in ghost's. Was all that I meant. So please don't take that literally. But there are alot of people who do not believe.

In the way of Freud where there are hallucinations, then yes. But those are more hallucinations than ghosts, and they are very real. Our brain is powerful.

Ghosts, eh? Interesting topic.
I've loved ghost stories for ages? I sort of believe in them, but sort of don't. What I mean is that I'd love to believe and have something paranormal happen to me...as long as nobody gets hurt.
The way I see it, most ghosts are just souls of people. Perhaps they got lost on their way to Heaven. It's hard to say. On the other hand, it's quite possible that these are hallucinations caused by fear or longing. The human mind is an immensely powerful thing.
Real or not, I'd really like to see a ghost one day.

Hmm, I typed up the story yesterday and pushed submit and it isn't here...
Sorry.
But a long story short.
When my brother and I was little, the electricity was out, and it was dark, we pretended that my closet was a rocket ship and mom was asleep, and dad was out side...there was a board...like ones that you can put magnet's on, that picked itself up, moved across the room and put it under the door knob of our closet. We freaked out, and started screaming for help. No one came...we were stuck in a small closet for an hour. I finally tried to look under the door, which was hard and saw the board...I reach under the door, knocked it out of the way, and we ran out of the room screaming. lol.
There was another time that I was sitting in the livivng room by myself and I heard someone walk into the kitchen, from the direction of my moms room, so I thought that it was her, and the steps continued in my direction, and it felt as if a hand put it self on the back of my chair and pulled it back. I thought it was her, so I turned around to look to see what she was doing, and no one was there. Needless to say what I did next...
There was another time I layed my book mark beside me on my bed, and when I went to look for it, where I layed it, it was gone...So I tore my bed apart looking for it, literally. After I fixed my bed, I was going to leave tohe room to brush my teeth, and I look back on my bed, and it was laying on the edge of my bed, like nothing happened.
Um...and then there was the time that I was writting a fanfiction and I felt something looking over my shoulder when I was writting it, and I looked over and there was this little boy that was looking at me, and dissapeared quickly.
There are several ghosts in our house, all of them are pranksters...sad part is, if you put my brother and I in seperate room's and we can give you the same discription of each ghost. It's...scary.
