-{this FAQ is well done and I do not feel like updating it. A few small changes made}-
Hokay. So. . . These are questions some of you may have for myself, and the Crew. I'll be adding questions every so often, and they will be answered!
SO! Here's a few I thought up (and the Crew can add whatever they want)!
Q: Can I/we Role Play with you guys?
A: Hell yes, you can! Anyone can Role Play with us! We're always happy to have more Role Play partners!
Q: When can I/we join you guys in the Role Play(s)? You guys go too ******** FAST!
A: XD Sorry about that! We just really like to move things along! If you happen to join us late in the current Arc that we're having, then you can jump in when it's over and introduce your character from there!
Q: Awesome! So I noticed that some of the characters seem pretty romantically involved with eachother, can I/we also do that?
A: Absolutely! It's encouraged. . However, if the other person isn't comfortable, or just doesn't want to have romantic involvement with your character, then DON'T! Move along and just have fun!
BUT!!! If your characters are about to "get your groove on (Bow chikka wha wha!)". . . yeah. . . . that is a no brainer.
Q: Huh?? 'No brainer what'??- D< What did you mean by that, Vice Captain?!
A: -_- I mean, don't post it. Just write down: "And then they made sweet love by le fire" or something to that effect. We don't need to see: "And he put his [CENSORED WORD] in her [CENSORED WORD].". . . . that's just gross. None of that s**t.
Q: D; For some reason nobody in the Role Play(s) are paying ANY attention to me!! WHY isn't anyone paying attention to me?!
A: D< Quit your BAWWing or else I'll bite you in the face!!- The Characters MAY be in a different setting of the Role Play and cannot hear you! Don't cry about it! Just move your character if needed and WAIT for someone to approach you. God, don't be such an attention whore!
Q: What are the Rules for Roleplaying BESIDES obeying Gaia's ******** ToS? I can't even understand their ToS!!!!
A: Glad you asked, and here's my answer for you, Buddy!
1. NO God moding, you jackass!- Sure, some of us have some pretty powerful characters; Luciano can temporarily manipulate Dark Matter, Maerua has her Orb, Skotti has the power of looking sexy while shooting Zombies, but we ALL have our limitations! If you're caught God Moding, you will not be able to Role Play with us!
2. NO Cybering!! Take that s**t out of the Guild!
3. NO attacking other members of the Role Play unless they permit it!!! Unless you want to suffer the same fate as YureLoser did, you'll do as WE (the Higher ups) say!!
4. Speaking of which! Do as Skotti/Myself/the Crew say!!! If we tell you to Edit your post, then do so WITHOUT whining! Which brings me to rule number five-
5. Not everyone in this Guild has perfect spelling and that's fine, but NO using L33t Speak/Chatspeak! While you Role Play!! If you disobey this rule, I will lecture you myself on Grammer and Punctuation. (Trust me. You DON'T want me to do that)
6. Obey all of the ******** rules!! Failure to do so and I'll make sure you never Role Play with us again.
Q: D: Nobody likes My/Our plot idea!!! Why?!! It's nothing personal, is it?!!- D< Answer me NAO!!
A: Well, everyone is always going to have their own idea as to what's fun and what isn't! I'm quite sure it's nothing personal (Unless you did something to piss someone off, then that's kind of a different story, y'know?). But, see, this is why we have the 'OOC Thread'! So that we can talk about our ideas and stuff! That way we can find something everyone will be alright with! Though if it comes down to that one person/group that hate EVERY ONE of your ideas, then. . .yeah. . lol It is more than likely personal.
Q: Someone of the Crew! I REFUSE to socialize with (Insert name here/Insert group here), but I still want to Role Play! What do I do?!
A: ._. Are you serious?- Ugh. First of all, keep it out of the Guild. And two, Just work something out! I mean, you can still have a good time in the Role Play(s) like the civilized individuals but also bear in mind that you and this person got beef, y'know? If you don't wanna swallow your pride in order to have fun, then just don't Role Play! That simple!
More will be added later, just right now you're sticking with this until I, or some of the Crew- or the Captain- can come up with new stuff!!

Questions, Round Two with Maerua. Some stuff about RP issues, others are totally meta. This subforum IS the most viewed in the guild, so I might as well provide answers to all the questions. wink
Q: Is there a limit to the number of characters that I can play?
A: Not really, but make sure you can handle playing each and every one of them while still developing decent characters. For example as of this update, I developed well over 40 characters with their own backstories and personalities, no two ever being the same. In other RPs, I tend to back off quite a bit, only playing one or two characters.
Q: How do I go about entering/leaving an RP without stirring up too much trouble?
A: Before entering an RP, follow the ten-page rule. The ten page rule refers to reading posts from ten pages prior to the most recent so you have an idea of what's going on. This rule came from the olden days' rates of activity over summer vacation and other times where everyone's available. Things got hectic quickly and people used to miss out on all kinds of stuff. We actually used to RP 15 pages per day until the school year began. For leaving an RP, make sure there's a logical way to write your character out of the story. Nobody likes plot holes.
Q: Who is this 'YureLoser' that Sinistro just mentioned up above?
A: An old in-joke about one of our members who was less inclined to follow general RP rules. Starting fights randomly, poor grammar, godmoding, refusal to improve, etc. He was banned within seven pages of the first iteration of the main RP. Don't end up like him Please?
Q: Policies on guild/RP advertising?
A: If it's our stuff you're advertising, feel free to advertise us to others and let your friends know. We need all the members we can get. If it's your out-of-guild stuff, contact one of us so we can set up some kind of affiliation thing if you're so inclined.
Q: CAN I PLZ MAEK N RP?!? LOL
A: Contact us first, then we can send it to a fine panel of judges (basically, the crew) and we'll approve or deny your request to start an RP.
Q: What's with this 'approval' crap? The crew doesn't follow it.
A: Bullshit, "we don't". We all post our ideas and we vote on them before we bother. We work as a team.
Q: Who the ******** is this "Sabe Hudson", what is he doing in RGC/OOC/the guild/game raids, and why is this douchebag not banned yet for inactivity? Hypocrisy!
A: Sabe is a character mule made and managed by yours truly. I post his stuff in character, in this beautiful blue font and anything not in character for any reason will be in plain black text. Also, I manage both Maerua and Sabe at the same time in Flash space games and the like.
Q: What's the point of the character rooms?
A: For roleplaying outside of roleplaying. It's like this fantastic meta-roleplay, you dig?
Q: OMG WHY IS MAERUA/SABE/JAY SUCH A DICKHEAD TO ME?
A: You clearly have done or said something wrong then. This is rare.
