 Having just finished up with school, the Genin wanders towards a special lake that her big brother had told her about. She hooks her bag onto her back and heads out the city gates. While walking, Maeko slips her headband off and puts it into her thigh pouch, reaching back up with a dark blue string to tie her hair up. All the while, her smokey gray eyes scan her surroundings, keeping watch for any suspicious behavior.

 Ichigo was standing at the lake side, tail slowly 'wagging', trying to catch a fish with his pole. As soon as he realized that his fishing pole was tugging, he quickly tried to reel in his catch, "Argh! Not again! Stupid fish won't stay on the freakin' hook..." The Chunin boy pulled the line up to his so that he may, once again, put a worm on the hook. This time he'll catch one! He just knew it! He scratched his left gill set, and flung the line into the water.

Maeko starts off at an easy pace, her breathing easy and deep as she jogs along the hidden path. Her silvery hair bobs behind her, swaying with her movements. Today her clothing was a simple dark blue turtle neck with silver accents, a pair of black jeans, and black tennis shoes. Oddly enough, even with the choice of clothing on such a wonderful day, she was still a bit cold. A passerby would think her nuts, but anyone who knew her style of fighting would know exactly why.

By now, Ichigo's pissed. "Stupid fish aren't biting the way I want them to!" He huffed, threw down his pole, and his tail twitched like mad. He ran out onto the water, and immediately jumped in the lake. Ah... This feels so good! It's been a while since I swam in the water! He closed his eyes, and gently swam in the water for a couple seconds, and remembered that he went in there for a reason. He shook his head, and began chasing after the fish. Come here, you son-of-a-b***h!

After a while, the girl pushes herself a bit harder, picking up the pace as she gets within a mile or so of the lake. She hops over a fallen tree, dodges branches, and evades the general sorts of natural obstacles. Within a few more minutes, she'd reached the lake, panting only slightly.
Peering about, she notes a tossed aside fishing pole. Furrowing her brow, she approaches the object and nudges it with a shoe, glancing about to the owner.

Finally catching the fish, he kicked his legs to propel him back to the surface. Splashing out of the water, he pulled himself out of the water, and gently placed his feet back on the surface, with the fish still in mouth. He was apparently chewing on it. Ichigo stopped, forgot that he had the fish in his mouth, he placed his hands in his pocket, "Hney! Who're you!!?"

Flicking her eyes at the......thing.......that pops up out of the water, she frowns and looks him over curiously. He obviously was...different, to say so lightly. "I would be Maeko Ultran. You might be?"

Ichigo rose an eyebrow at the girl's clothes. He grabbed the fish out of his mouth, and narrowed his eyes, "Mine's Ichigo Hoshigaki..." He kept himself in the water, and looked at her with suspicious eyes, then, when he thought of her as no threat, he began to swim back to shore with the fish still in hand. He swam pretty quickly, using his tail to propel himself, as well as using his arms.
