The year: 3005, the place: New England.
Humans have been traveling the galaxy for many years and the spaceport called New England is one of the main ports that orbits the Lalande star, a red dwarf star in the constellation of Ursa Major. The port tends to be full of the scum of the universe with the black market one of the largest things there.
The story starts with Galia, the daughter of one of the pirates the calls the port home. her father is one of the worse pirates out there and since he has only seem to be able to have her as a child he figured it was time to bring her into the life of crime since she had already become a well known thief in the port. he brings her to the second worse pirate of the port asking if she can be taken under his wing to learn the ways of piracy.
