FlameFur scampered up her flyer's wing with ease, her eyes bright with excitement. Devil Eye was a friend from when she was just a kit and she always felt happy and safe in his company. They had been talking about exploring on their flyers when she got older and now she was finally an adult! Her little chest puffed out and she sat up straight, her little paws steady on Nightwing's reins as she turned her silvery blue eyes to Devil Eye. What would he introduce her to?
"I'm ready, Devil Eye! Let's go!"

Devil Eye hopped held onto the reins when Darkwing straightened herself up, petting the crest on the top of her head and smoothing it down a bit for her. He was always up for exploring, just to find new places to cause trouble. Of course he would never do that in front of Flamefur, having always liked the little female, even when she was still in her cocoon.
He looked over to her when she said they should go and he chuckled, smirking, "Very well! Alright Darkwing, let's find us some place new." he said, snapping the reins a bit. The flyer squawked a bit and flapped her wings, quickly taking off into the air.

FlameFur didn't even have to do anything before Nightwing rose smoothly and caught up to the other flyer with strong flaps of his wings, hanging back just a bit to let her lead.
The little Mistling shifted on her back paws, eyes wide and surveying everything before sending a blinding smile towards Devil Eye. "This is sooo much fun! I love it!" The freedom was new as her Lightfly, Starglow, was a fussbudget and didn't want her going anywhere without supervision. Well, Devil Eye was older so it was all right, wasn't it?
"Wheeeeee~!"

Devil Eye couldn't help but chuckle again at her. Oh he wasn't making fun of her, he just found her personality and outlook so cute and a bit refreshing. Most other Mistlings either looked at him with distrust or some fear because of his eyes. "Yes, yes it is!" he called back to her, enjoying the feel of the rushing air on his dark fur.

Devil Eye's chuckle just made her laugh even more, eyes sparkling with pleasure. She took a deep breath, enjoying the sweet, fresh air. Her tail whipped around from the breeze, fluffing and floofing this way and that and even that amused her. She had the true joy of an innocent and it was contagious.
"Are we going to fly around the world, Devil Eye? Can we see everything?"
Nightwing, slanted a look to the other flyer, Darkwing, amused at the antics of his Mistling companion brought about by the darker male. He'd fly all day if they could stay happy like this.

Darkwing gave an amused look back to the other flyer, finding her innocent nature very amusing, but not annoying. Devil Eye laughed, "If I could, I would fly you around the world in a day! But our flyers might get tired and they do need to rest. We wouldn't be very good caretakers if we let that happen, now would we?" he asked, giving a teasing smirk.

"Oh, I don't want them getting tired! Do you think we should stop for food? Does Darkwing like raspberries like Nightwing does?" She looked anxious, petting the feathers at the side of Nightwing's head. But she gave a sweet smile to Devil Eye in return at his thoughtful words. He was so nice to her!

Darkwing leaned over a bit to look to his flyer and seeing the look a positive look, he looked toward Flamefur, "Yes she does. Berries sound good right about now." he stated, long tail flicking about behind him.

FlameFur smiled at the flyer and then looked down, trying to spot berry bushes for them to feast upon. She squinted comically, nose scrunching up as she tried to see from way up in the clouds before giving a hopeless look. "I can't see the bushes from way up here. I think we need to go lower. Nightwing can usually find them since he loves them so much." She gave a sheepish look, twiddling her paws around the reins. "I'm kinda hungry too."

"Well, since he is so adept at finding berries, why not let him lead us lower and let him find them?" he said as a solution, chuckling to himself over her face.

"You heard him, Nightwing! Let's go find some yummy berries to fill our bellies with!" The flyer let out a caw and veered sharply, banking left and towards a lushly covered field, wings spreading to allow him to glide towards the ground and land. He looked back once to see if Darkwing was following before making his way towards his goal: an entire field of bushes packed with juicy red fruit.
"Ooooh, yay! There's enough for all of us and then some!"

Devil Eye clutched the reins tightly in his paws when Darkwing took a few moments and the veered to the left as well, catching up to the male flyer within a few seconds. His tummy was starting to bother him, so he saw no reason to forgo getting food. Besides, the sight of the oncoming berries did look delicious.

FlameFur leaned into Nightwing's neck as he glided and then landed, hopping forward twice before actually stopping. He then leaned down to let FlameFur hop off safely before turning to size up some of the prime bushes.
The little Mistling waited patiently for Devil Eye to land as well, sitting back on her haunches as her stomach grumbled loudly. She looked down and made a shushing noise at her own belly, patting it assuringly. "Hush up! We'll be eating soon."

Darkwing opened up her wings and slowed down her descent, flapping the ends lightly as she floated down to the ground. Once she landed safely, she folded them back against her sides and let Devil Eye slide off her back, ruffling up her dark feathers before letting them go back down.
Devil Eye hopped down to the ground and stood up on his haunchs, looking about, "Mmmm, they look quite good, smell good too. They must be quite ripe by now." he stated.

FlameFur nodded enthusiastically before taking one of Devil Eye's paws in her own and running full speed towards the bushes. "Hurry! Nightwing can be a glutton so we have to stake a claim on our own bush immediately! But he's a gentleman and will let Darkwing pick a bush before him, right?" She gave her flyer a look that had him ducking his head and then nodding, backing away from a bush and unfurling a wing as if to usher Darkwing towards it.
She smiled and then plucked a large raspberry and handed it to Devil Eye, a small flush on her cheeks.
