I dislocated my knee and they said I might have to get surgery because a piece of my knee cap came off [yeah it was as painful as it sounds]. I was just wondering since I've never had surgery before if they do anything with my blood like test it? Cause long story short I did something over the weekend that stays in my body for at least 30 days and if I get caught my mom will actually kill me.

KinkyMayhem I dislocated my knee and they said I might have to get surgery because a piece of my knee cap came off [yeah it was as painful as it sounds]. Cause long story short I did something over the weekend that stays in my body for at least 30 days and if I get caught my mom will actually kill me. Your in trouble then. They normally check your blood before they do surgery. I just asked my mom who's had surgery b4 cause I don't remember if they did w/me b4 my surgery of when I broke my left ankle in 3 places.

Well mainly when they test your blood they only look at if you have any deceases. Plus I believe there are doctor patient stuff with big words lol where if you are like over the age 16 that they can not really say much or something. I might be totally wrong. Um . . . but I do not think you will get in any trouble. Plus if you are talkin about the green stuff M-jay then that can actually stay in your body way longer. I do not see why that would deals with get surgery

I had my tonsils out (minor surgery) and they did not test my blood.
They usually do but most likely you wont get arrested its just so the anestisea (sp?) does not interact with anything you might be taking and incase you get a transfusion they need to know your type.

They don't test for drugs, you're fine.
You have to ask specifically for that test. they typically look at white cell count and doctor-patient confidentiality... they can't say anything to your parents.

I had my knee operated on a year and a half ago due to ACL rupture, and all they did was take a pee sample, because they have to determine whether you are pregnant or not, because anesthesia affects pregnant women in different ways. Otherwise they wouldn't have to test you for anything.
