Has anyone been to the theatres to see the movie? I have. I think it was a great movie, apocalyptic, but good. I made this thread to see what people think about the movie and whether you think the world would come to an end.
My opinion :

Disclaimer:
If you don't like special effects, guinea pigs or good movies, don't read this. Also, it reveals a little of the movie, so if you don't like about 1 minute of the movie ruined, then dont read this. its just 1 measely minute, though...

The movie seemed extrememly realistic. I'm going to give the movie a 10/10 for the special effects alone. Best special effects i've ever seen in a movie!! It also had a great plot and story. Some parts of the movie are really funny, like the part with the weird talk show radio host. He's standing at yellowstone telling his listeners how great it is and the the main character is trying to convince him to get out of there before it explodes. He then tells the main character," I think i'll stay. its so pretty." Then it starts to erupt and he, well, i won't ruin it for you. Plain and simple, its a great movie. I'd recommend it to anyone over the age of 10. Only reason I say that is that I knew some stuff I really shouldn't know that age. And from what I've heard, nothing has changed among the younguns.
I look at the movie with a Christian outlook. I'd probably be the hopeless citizen being stuck in his house praying when a huge earthquake goes through. Then in the end, i'd be stuck next to south pole (Winsconsin in the movie after all the madness). I'm really big ito the end of the world, considering I constanly ask myself questions on it. What kinda helped me with it is Revelations. And aparently, one of my fave bands, avenged sevenfold, has their album, city of evil, based on Revelations 15-20. Beast and the Harlot is Revelations 16.
Well, just give your opinion on the topic.
