...1) if the Ring makes you invisible, why wasn't Sauron made invisible when he wore it? 2) If that dwarf guy who was killed by the orcs in the mines under the mountain was put in the tomb, and all his friends were killed too, who put him there?

Ohhh.... but then why was Frodo invisible to everyone when he put it on, while Sauron was not? And yeah, I know they were all killed. If they were all killed, who put him in the tomb?

1) Sauron is already in the shadow world, his clothing prevents him from being unseen 2)He died before the rest of everyone else. He was one of the first to fall.

an added note: The Reason Sam was not found when he used the ring in the books OUTSIDE Mordor was because so much evil was there you could not tell, also the ring gives you increased hearing, so sam was able to avoid danger.

this is the one ring to rule all the rings. it was truely evil , this is no ring of invisiblety . this is a ring of power , hobbits not themagic to use these rings. there race had not gotten one. there power was to resist its power only.

The dwarves in the Mines did not die in one battle. Many years the battles raged deep in the mines. The lord was one of the first to fall. His tomb was the last stand of the dwarves years later.

Um actually no. The Ring doesn't make you invisible it sends you to the dark world like another dimension. And the reason they didn't get any rings was BECAUSE HOBBITS DIDN'T EXIST AT THE TIME!

They didn't exist at the time? O_o I wonder what they could have evolved/devolved from. Maybe dwarves.

Evelyn Eastbrook They didn't exist at the time? O_o I wonder what they could have evolved/devolved from. Maybe dwarves. no i think they existed at the time, they where just unknown and unimportant and not a threat(the dark lord thought he could easy defeat them so he just sent the rings to the main races human, dwarf and made the one ring to try and control the 3 elvish rings and the other rings.(except the 3 elvish rings they where made by elves, that's 1 of the reasons the dark lord made the one ring to try and control the three elvish rings.)) hope this helps in answering ur question.

A question I got from these posts was, why didn't the 3 elven rings become controlled? Gandalf had Narya and yet was not controlled>?
