My favorite is this red fuzzy stuff I made a scarf out of once. Of course, I was coughing up red fuzz for a couple days after that. xd

I like Lion Brand's chunky/bulky Homespun yarn. I knitted my dress using the stuff and now I'm using it for a ribbed scarf

Caron Spa and Caron Country. They come in the same shades the only difference is that spa is made with bamboo and country is made with merino wool. The price is the same and it's available in US Michaels for under $5 a skein.

Like the look and feel but costs a bit less? Caron Eco is 20% made out of recycled pop bottles and is comparable to Bernat Satin. It's available in US Walmarts for the best price I've seen. You would have NEVER guessed by the way it feels.

Can you tell I'm a fan of Caron's newer collection?

Caron SimplySoft feels great across my hands. I won't knit with yarns that don't feel good anymore - life's too short.

It was so fuzzy that I had a hard time seaming. My favorite yarn is now Bernat Softee Chunky. It's 100% acrylic, it's soft, and bulky. I knitted a tiny ball with it just for fun to try it out. It's wonderful! :3 Oh, and it's cheap!

I've found Lion Brand Homespun is good for some things (scarves, shawls, etc) but I can see how it would suck trying to seam something made from it. My personal favorite right now is KnitPicks Palette in the Serrano colorway. *dreamy sigh* I have to make sure to keep my hand salve close by as 100% wool dries my hands out real quick, but it has been a dream to knit with so far.

Right now, I am knitting with some haute fur yarn that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. It's really fun to knit with (although I keep pulling out some of its strands, lol).

Although that is one of my favorites, my #1 at the moment would probably be... some kind of sport weight baby yarn I'm using, also from Hobby Lobby. It is nice and firm, and great for many projects - even socks!
