So, at the begin on this year, as Perthies will know, we had a vote to decide whether Perth would ever FINALLY get day light savings. No won scream
But anyway, so people from Perth...why/why not did you vote for daylight savings? People from around Australia WITH daylight savings, your opinion, would you keep it or get rid of it?

I voted against it because it gives my grandparents an hour less of daylight in the vineyard before the grapes are due at the market, meaning less moneys.. Also because it leaves me an hour less of beach time before the sea breeze comes in and makes it horrible.
it's also confusing as hell when some clocks change themselves and others don't.
I just find that for my lifestyle it's better without it. The only thing I do find a bit annoying now that we don't have daylight savings is the sun waking me up so early D=

Well we do that whole daylight savings thing here in Vic.
When it clicked over a few months back I completely forgot and got up an hour late as a result. Thankfully it was a Saturday and I was only late to visiting a mates place. He didn't mind, just laughed at me.
I guess I don't really mind it. Seems a bit odd to mess with time like that but....meh.

Chibi_Sunflower Well we do that whole daylight savings thing here in Vic. When it clicked over a few months back I completely forgot and got up an hour late as a result. Thankfully it was a Saturday and I was only late to visiting a mates place. He didn't mind, just laughed at me. I guess I don't really mind it. Seems a bit odd to mess with time like that but....meh. Was there always daylight savings ever since you were a kid?? And I was lucky to get it wrong the other way and rock up to work an hour early. Lucky I had my key otherwise I'd be sitting in the carpark!

You can swim at Hillarys any time all the lights are on. Or if my friends want to swim I put the flood lights on and they swim in Dad's nice new heated pool.
