It was a rather dull day for the Hokage. She had gotten done with all of her paperwork early so she had enough time to go out and wander around the streets of the village. She had gotten stopped a few times by the villagers, mainly the commoners and not by very many shinobi. She wondered if the other shinobi felt like she was a good Hokage. She hoped that she was doing a good job as being a Hokage but she didn't really know.
She had stopped for a few moments under a large tree that grew near the academy school. She gazed at the children as they fled from the school, the school day already being over. She smiled. It had been a long time since she was that age and she was already beginning to feel...old. Sighing, she leaned against the tree and closed her eyes, her mind wandering slightly.

Kait tucked her ANBU mask away and slipped through the village, a smile plastered onto her face. Nothing elevated her mood like a successful mission. And no mission made her feel as fulfilled as an A-rank. Except maybe S-rank missions. Humming a cheery tune to herself, she made her way back to her apartment, passing the academy along the way.

Lily heard the humming and she looked over at who was humming and saw an unfamiliar face. She tilted her head to one side and tried to remember who that ANBU was but no name came to her mind. She must be a new ANBU because she had never seen her before. Slowly, she stood up straight and walked over to Kait and she began to walk beside the other woman. "Such a nice day, isn't it?" she asked the ANBU, looking up at the sky as she kept up with Kait's pace of speed.

Kait glanced over, hardly ruffled by the other woman's intrusion. It didn't take to much to recognize her as the Hokage. Kait tended to stay out of the loop, mostly of her own choosing, but she did her best to keep track of the important things. "Lovely." She smiled over to her, though it was impossible to see through her mask. "Forgive me, I don't think I remember your name. I'm Kait."

It was then that Lily realized that she still had her mask on. Even though she had become Hokage, she still slipped her mask on every once in a while. It was a habit that was slow to die out. She slowly pulled off her mask, revealing her green eyes to Kait. "Lilianna," she said, smiling warmly at Kait.

"Nice to finally meet you Lady Lilianna." Satisfied that she was beyond the sight of anyone other than her walking companion, she removed her mask and tucked it away. Her one visible blue eye regarded the woman as if sizing her up. "Its a nice day to just get out and escape for some air, isn't it?"

Lily winced slightly when the ANBU said Lady Lilianna. She wasn't going to get used to being called 'Lady'. Not even after ten years of being Hokage. 'I guess that's what I get for accepting this position,' she thought to herself.
Lily glanced over at Kait as the other woman tucked away her mask. She smiled slightly at her. "It's been a nice day for a walk, that's for sure. Though any day that I can get out of my office is a good day."

She laughed, it was a soft and light sound that echoed merrily in the near deserted lane. "I suppose that it must be boring being cooped up in that office of yours. Some air must be a good change." Unlike her closest friend Assora, she would hate to be Hokage. The responsibility alone would be to much for her. What really turned her off of it was the constant feeling of being babysat. She needed her freedom, which she got plenty of being an ANBU.
