A friend of mine showed me that site a couple weeks ago. I wasn't surprised but it tickled me a little lol Some of the content is so freaking ripped from this site; it's just shameful.

It isn't ripped from this site... from what I understand, Gonline is Gaia's Chinese sister site... With better shizzle in the shops. And better art. But you aren't allowed to curse there at all, or discuss religion or politics! D=
I can't get too active at the moment 'cause the library computers make all the Chinese characters look like little boxes, so I can't go out into the forums proper and do translations and talk to actual Chinese people... but the international subforum is pretty active, so I'm not completely out.
A lot of their features don't work yet. @_@

I don't know how fun it could possibly be if everything is so censored, especially since it's in China. I thought it was just a rip off site, but if it's actually like an official sister site... that's interesting.

I'm enjoying myself... and I think some of the items are worth it. I kinda want to make a male mule because they have the DJ Studio Headphones in the shops there! o_o

Why am I not surprised that they made a sister site that is better then the original. Not fair we don't get some of the cool stuff and good artwork.
*nods* Yeah, I have a friend that's in China and they're kind of strict about somethings and also there are times they can't access the internet because there is a black out or something. I think he said it was something that their government does to keep it so strict or something. I don't know, but it sounds like it sucks personally.
However, that site looks very cute I wouldn't mind playing on it if I could read it.

That's what translators are for... Being in China, though, they used simplified characters, so you should remember that if you decide to use on there. >_>; The international forum is active enough, though. That's where I have to hang around until I get my own laptop and Chinese text support for IE/Windows/Whatever the Library doesn't have. o_O
And that was my first sentiment when I first saw the site... they're art is nicer, they're colors are less WHITE, they have some KICK a** dresses in the shops. @_@ And a lot of the stuff is cheaper in the shops there than they are here!
Though... currently I need a little under 700g to get the dress I want there. o_o

Okay seriously why is it their sight is better and apparently cheaper then our own? I mean seriously do they think we want all this WHITE or less spiffy look because we are that boring? Do they think we won't like some of these items or something? Do they think we like spending the soul of a first born child to get that one item we want?
Okay sorry I'm done ranting now. It does look nice, but I don't really have a translator...well I do but I can barely handle English. *laughs*

Gaia used to have a darker layout, didn't it? I think it did when I joined... but I've forgotten. @_@
