I managed to finish MW2 on veteran on my first playthrough! My eyes are sore and my brain is numb...er... The game was amazing but in my opinion it was a little to short. There were so many "Oh...didnt see that coming" moments in the game though. I dont get why people say the story wasnt that good. The ending was cool also, and i cant wait to see MW3 (Yep...theres going to be a third one...)
On a side note, I get what people were talking about with the MW2 airport scene. It wasn't disturbing to me personally, it was thought provoking though. And there is difficulty. Not just helpless civilians. Eventually you fight guys with riot shields and guns and stuff. And the Multiplayer is fun with friends. Full of campers now, but once the holidays come and everyone gets it, its going to be just like COD4. Everyone's going to forward rush like always.

I agree with everything you said. There's gonna be a third one for sure because Makorov didn't die and the Army Rangers are heading to Russia. I also agree with the campers. I try to avoid TD (Team Deathmatch) for that reason. But if you know what works you can make it around them and reck them from behind.

I'm currently going through it on Hardened in my first play-through since I'm a casual gamer, and it's not all that difficult. I just find cover and take my sweet time. Rambo-ing is for Halo players. xD

I am not a Halo-gamer, anbu, but I did Rambo it. Even at the end I was freaking on the controls to see if I can finish it quicker

I wasn't calling anybody a Halo-gamer, but I was just stating an observation.

It's all good. I wasn't being crude if you took it the wrong way.

I tried to play through World At War on Veteran on my first play through, but now my friend has my copy of the game.
I'll go for Veteran on this for my first time, too. Hopefully this will be (as it seems to be) more fun that Call of Duty 5

I beaten it on Veteran. It took me two tries, but I accomplished it. I would of beaten it the first time, but my little cousin changed the difficulty while I wasn't lookin' so I ran through it on Hardend. I had to beat Act III again.
